He does, he has to have the ball plenty of times, get it first from defenders and know where to find solutions at all times. Khedira barely wants the ball as RCM, hides from it mostly, plays quick 1-2 passes in movement. He is pretty much about intelligent off the ball movement forward. Defenitely not suited to be static and be the one tho take charge of initial possession building.
he is required to do so in the position he plays. doesnt mean he cant play in a more static way if asked to do so.

also, i already told you twice that it depends on our gameplan. if you plan to have a player have the ball from defenders and distribute it around like we are used to against a team that will press you right away, then thats wrong. no player, except for Pogba, Morata or one of our wingers tomorrow should be more than a second on the ball. receiving a pass and instantly getting rid of the ball is what we need. no calm passing the ball around like usual. which means recover the ball, pass it to Pogba or one of our wingers and try to counter attack instantly. if we had Pirlo even there wouldn't be time for him to do what you described. also, in the 442 we use tomorrow, Khedira and another ball winner (Sturaro) over Hernanes. dont want to see him dribble himself into lose ball situations in the early stages of our attacks.

Only compelling argument we need is Allegri never played him in this role and will prolly never do it. He hasnt either prior in his career, saw him plenty of times in Real and kraut NT to notice the obvious.

Same baseless suggestions are made every time Marchisio is injured. Doesnt seem to help the reality of every time this discussion is had they werent chosen but Hernanes or Lemina was.
the fact Allegri never used him doesn't mean much. he never used Vidal there yet he played there for Bayern vs us

I definitely expect a 4-3-3.

But again it will be bamboozling if he leaves one of the best fullbacks in the world on the bench just for the sake of having 'experience' in Evra and one who obviously won't offer much going forward on top of having an uncomfortable evening against Robben.
Prepare for the 80th min gratitude sub when the game would've been out of our reach by then.

It's frustrating as fuck but I'll have to live with it come gameday

+1 on that..key word is no time..Pirlo in fact was useless against Bayern style of play.. Vs Madrid? Maybe you have time but not BM..also cuadrado the headless chicken is 50/50 meaning playing him can backfire...need ballwinners and one two passes forward none of this long ball crap either preferably..

I'd play a 4-3-1-2.

Dybala and Manzukic up front. Pereyra as AM. Pogba, hernanes and Asamoah as CMs. back 4 with evra and licht. Basically putting on all the fast defensive workhorses in the team.

We should press them as hard as possible at full intensity in the first half of the game with the plan being to recover the ball and counter. When we and Bayern get exhausted of the intense pressing game (after 60 min or so), we then field our more offensively talented skilled players. Morata, Khedira and Sandro for Mandzu, asamoah and evra.

Dybala is injured. Allegri is being cautious.

WTF? Is he drunked? The match tomorrow is the biggest of the year
Scudetto race is wide open starting from Sunday against Torino who will die to spoil our fifth title. We don't want to lose him for a month or so.We had Viola rats and Milan away too.So it's a good decision.I like his press conference .
