Pre-match:
Feels like Ranieri all over again.

Poulsen insted of Camo. :shifty:

I realy hope Ciro knows what he's doing if thats the case.
It's not CR all over again, Ranieri brought Poulsen on to defend the draw.

Please do well Amauri.

Realy extremly upset with Ciro, i need to calm down before i will post something that i cant take back.

And Tiago makes it into the game, WTF ? And with that the game ends 0-0 and Juve falls down in the table. 2 points out of 6 is not good. This is Juve, not Maccabi Haifa.

Not really a good performance as a team. Some individuals were good like Camo and Legrottaglie. I don't like the way we rely on Diego in the midfield to take the ball forward. Our midfield needs someone else to make things happen in the center, just get Diego in a more advanced position to get the goalscoring chances.

Some odd substitutions, really want to hear what Ciro says post match now. We're also extremely lucky to not concede in the first half, especially that chip from Ribery which would have been tasty.

The Diego for Poulsen sub was pre-planned but did not work one bit, we needed someone to execute the space we had in the second half and Poulsen is not able to. Such a lazy player also Poulsen. Camo was clear MOM, also I thought Melo was solid in the middle. For any doubters tonight proved it Camo>>>>>>Marchisio.
Why are you comparing these two players. Its like saying Buffon is better than Trezguet??

Marchisio played well tonight. So did Camoranesi. We did not push offensively because we were affraid to concede which was fair. I still would have put in Del Piero instead of Amauri.
Looks like DP is not ready.

worst game i have seen in a while from us...
our defence totally got owned by ribery and robben...grosso is even worser in defence than molinaro...grygera got eaten alive the whole game from ribery.
legro and chillieni locked more than shaky....marchisio melo did ok but had to much to do in defence... camo was awful and i am just happy that he didn't got send off.
poulsen was invisible like ever... iq and trez did ok
diego tried hard but had no support.
you must have not seen many juve matches then

We were really really bad in the first half and we deserved to lose this one, no doubt about that but as it happened many times we got lucky and got 1 point. Grosso was pretty awful, Ribery kept destroying him on the left side, Camo tried and our midfield look alive because of him but he had to be careful since he got a yellow card.

Ferrara wanted a draw here which was clear in the second half when Bayern couldn't do as much. Poulsen-Diego sub has explained how we're after 1 point but possible win on counter attacks. Amauri was taken in just to keep the ball, where he's superior to Trez.

Away matches are always hard in the CL and it's really hard to get away with a win BUT on the other hand it's rather sad when we see our recent results and most importantly 1-1 match against Bordeaux in Turin which makes things complicated.

We deserved to lose this one and there's no need for player ratings since our play was rather poor.

To be (not) honest, Chiellini and Grygera were great, I mean wow.

Everytime I think these players have played their worst game, they surprise me.

When Sissoko is back, Marchisio is the player who hits the bench for me. Camo again showed how he is arguably the most creative player we have.

Why Zebina didn't start?
Why put Del Piero on the bench and not play him when we're dead ufpront?
Why taking so much time to make subs?

Taking Diego out wasn't wise at all. And all three subs didn't make sense to me.

Trezeguet was moving and was having a better game than Iaquinta.
I ask the same questions as you, but as far as the question in bold goes, i think that Poulsen for Diego, even though it killed our chances to score (which we weren't doing anyway), it at least left much less space for Bayern and we kept the draw.

I didn't like Ferrara's subs, again. Trezeguet was having a wonderful night with a few missed chances also in the 1st half and we all know how deadly he can be in front of goal . He shouldn't have been the one that got subbed off, but Iaquinta who had a very low night. Also I can't understand the possible reason he chose Amauri instead of Del Piero when we were so clueless upfront once Diego had left the pitch.

MOM Legro.

I applaud Ciro for recognizing we were not going to win and salvaging a point. A tie at Bayern is not the worst thing in the world. I'm happy with the result actually, not necessarily the performance, but in a competition like this there will be games like this and it's important to take what you can realistically get and with our injuries and lack of chemistry at the moment a tie is fine with me.

Sorry to say this but Ciro makes even worse subs than Ranieri, I can't just believe the changes he makes

He takes out Trez who was fucking great, and puts in the excuse of a player (based on his current form) Amauri

He didn't remove Iaquinta for DP who along with Diego and Trez upfront could have changed the game.

He removed Diego instead of Marchisio and put Poulsen instead of Gio who can explode in such matches, I just can't belive what Ciro is doing......
