The problem with Trez-Iaquinta, as Vlatko and few more noticed, is that Iaquinta always goes for a goal and he can only see the goal in front of him, never the other Juve players around him. Trez on the other hand, is a player who needs service.
A good match by Diego will nullify the problem, though.

In any case, Iaquinta is the only one who must play. He's in better form than anyone else in our attacking department, he opens up smartly, runs more than the other strikers, he's making them tired, and, of course, scores and assists on every single match he plays.
There was also those opening matches in Serie A when we first bought Iaquinta. Like the Roma game where Iaquinta assited Trez for his goal. The Duo worked when Alex was out of form during that month of september. Then Alex after his contract was sorted out decided that it would be fun to destroy Serie A and top the scoring charts for that season. So Iaquinta was dropped to the bench.

He soaks up the tackles in midfield like a towel soaks up water. Sissoko is the only guy I've ever seen tackle the ball away, then give it back to the guy just so he could tackle him again.

What stats? :shifty:

If you mean the post about our crisis from last year, I only checked Juve's results in 2008/09. You can easily find them on the net.
That and Iaquinta's form with Trezeguet, things like that. I know there are on internet, but the question is where :D

I don't think our problems are only physical, our fitness has a lot to do but our major problem is mentality. We tend to give up and stop playing, we go into periods of absence in the match and often we seem that we are totally indifferent of whatever the outcome is.

Well, I can only tell you that you certainly can't find them all in one place. :D

Everyone can do the same and find the info if he has patience. Sometimes it takes 1 minute, sometimes it takes 1 hour.

In Iaquinta-Trezeguet case it will take my at least 20 minutes to check the starting line-ups on every single match we played last year.
Of course, since i know that Trez completely missed the first part of the season (at least he didn't play on the matches after Juve-Zenit) and wasn't given a chance at all in the end of the season, i will only check those matches in the meantime and voila, in only 5 minutes i will know how did Iaquinta-Trez duo do last season. :D

That is true. After the Genoa game I thought the boys will come out angry & aggressive. Shall we starve them all like Conte did to Atlanta?

How would I know? maybe Ciro tells them not to care about the result. If that's the case they do respond pretty well.

I second that! Thou that could also be related with tiredness also, lack of concentration because they are tired? And not to forget Ferrara also, his slow reactions..

    ha ha ha Strong reaction
    Sensitive case :D

If I remember correctly Ferrara talked about the fitness issue at the beginning of the season. Saying something to the tune of having a long lasting kick towards the end of the season but we are already tired at the beginning.

It has to be iaquinta and trez. They are our on-form strikers. Anything else is madness and biased IMO. Del is not 100% yet and also I think that he and trez are too slow as a partnership these days (something we all moaned about in pre-season but have comfortably forgotten now). IQ can hold it up, use his speed, and trez can knock in the scraps and be an aerial threat. Dp to come on in at some point in second half for me.
