Marchisio was something in between Matuidi and Ramsey at LM.

A playmaker on left cutting in slightly (like how Aouar lined up vs us) with LB overlapping and CR7 showing to the left is fine...as long we don't completely change shape and play back 3 during attack (unrealistic hope bc that's exactly what will happen). Pirlo wants a playmaker in the final third, we can accommodate him like this while getting rid of complicated, slow transitions that do more harm than good.

Alternatives are Kulu and Danilo starting.

recently checked the regulations, and i don't remember anything similar. iirc both finalist clubs get 40 medals each, much more than the number of eligible players.

It kinda makes sense. We'll continue to play two games a week till Xmas. This is the only time you can rest deLight.

I want us to go for it, but the Serial A games are more important, and a big win away at Camp Nou in current form is unlikely either way.

Prefer Dragusin trial by fire over Danilo though.
