You don't think there is an good chance Juve-Atletico will decide who finishes top of the group?
It easily might, but the teams won't show the same motivation as they do when it's about qualifying or getting eliminated. Most of the times they're like "ok, we qualified, that's what counts. It would be cool if we win the group, a bonus, but we qualified". We played such a match with Shakhtar some years ago. It was really dull.

I like this new Jack with spot on tactical replies alot.

And you are right about tevez. should have taken him off instead of vidal. Altho vidal's controlls were bad

I find it funny how some of you are "fans" and still don't know the problem of the club.

The 2 best teams in CL last time were Real and Bayern. Real had Ronaldo/Bale on the wings. Bayern had Robben/Ribbery. Juventus had Lichsteiner/Asamoah.

Gee I wonder why they suck?

Real Madrid spend 200 million euros on wingers alone, Juventus doesn't even play with wingers.

Juventus is not dominating Serie A. Juventus is scraping 1-0 wins against Chievos and Udinese. Domination means scoring 8 goals like Real Madrid. You guys scored the same amount of goals as Atletico in the league who is considered an "ultra defensive" team.

You guys blame Serie A because you struggle to beat Malmo and Copenhagen, while Roma steamrolls over CSKA Moscow in their first CL game in years, and plays up to par with Man City.

Realize the problem is you and no one else. Man City struggled to get out of CL group 2 years in a row, it wasn't because EPL is a a bad league. The problem was them and them alone.

Stop playing slow boring football with no attacking width, and add some pacey wingers in 4-3-3 and you'll look 100x better.

Or be content with "dominating" Sassuolos and Chievos 1-0.

We know we have no wingers. Everyone here wants wingers.

Same issues basically. Attacking with Licht and Evra/Asa works in Italy but not good enough against the top teams in Europe. Pogba, Marchisio and Vidal are occupied doing other duties than being creative and having to work out an offense while Llorente and Tevez are all by themselves.

Damn do I wish we had Cuadrado running up and down the flank instead. 3-5-2 is good, it gives us an edge when we have better offensive players than Licht and Evra.

So, to sum things up, Atletico were good, they played a typical game for them, game that brought all the success last season, beating Barca and Real, but WE ARE JUUUVE!!! :D

If Licht had defended that ball, as he really should of as he was in a better position than the attacker, then we'd be all singing a different tune.

We played well away to a team that won La Liga, was minutes from winning the CL, and almost NEVER loses at home.

Added to that, our stars were simply under-performing.

Put things in to perspective. We will do much better next time around I'm sure of it.

are you guys watching football since last 2 years or something?? this isn't fashion you don't go with the trend, before this teams you guys talk about had this wingers barca did great with ronaldinho eto and great midfield and good defense and before them milan did it with kaka and pipo. and before them gerard and zidane and del piero and trezeguet.. its all about how you use your squad.. ateltico btw showed they are a top team with near to non worldclass players. just great organization and great mentality and no true wingers..
