So what? The vast majority of those were at 0-0 where the fouls suited us just fine. You did realise Allegri's plan was to control the game and take a point right? Atleti were set up to be hard to break down, as they always are, and be dangerous with crosses when they could. There wasn't much we could do. If we took more risks going forward and afforded them better counter attacking opportunities that would've been a poor tactical decision, simple as that.

You're missing the point. Llorente occupied their defenders, won headers and free kicks for us, but for the most part was ineffective in attack. He gets bashed. Tevez does absolutely nothing all game long except for give the ball away. He doesn't get bashed. Wait what?
