ya good thing Ale is there to remind our players that they have to take this important Champions league game seriously. they mightve forgotten and confused the game for a friendly stroll otherwise.

The sad thing is yes, he does.

There are 2 outcomes; we lose and the 3-5-2 haters come out of their caves with stones in their hands or we win and the 3-5-2 is praised as the greatest thing in the universe.
you know a football match has three potential results, right? :D

oh and if we win all the credit goes to Euromaxx not the 3-5-2 :p

We're very fortunate of that fact. Heaven forbid the players themselves actually didn't realise it.

 i didn't realize until now that Ansaldi plays for them

His chemotherapy must be working well.

Yeah it's just baffling. Del Piero was simply just giving an honest take on our chances. But for others, it's a deep subliminal message intended to lure Atleti into a false sense of security.

Much prefer that they seem to be playing with a 4-4-2 rather than 4-2-3-1. Our formation can match up to theirs quite well.

The main things that scare me about this Atletico team are their threat from set pieces and their counter attacks.

Del Piero: Atleti favourites

Alessandro Del Piero believes Atletico Madrid are favourites ahead of Juventus tomorrow, as he reflects on his former team’s chances in Europe.

The Bianconeri’s search for improved performance in the Champions League continues at the Vicente Calderon against last season’s beaten finalists, in a game that their former No 10 believes they are underdogs for.

“It will be a great game - Atletico are one of the best teams in Europe, a great side actually, and this will be one of the best games of this phase,” Del Piero has enthused to Marca today.

“Atletico are the favourites, as the numbers will say, and whilst both are champions of their respective countries, Atletico played in last year’s Champions League Final.

“But, everything could happen [in the return match] at Juventus Stadium.

“Diego Simeone is a very intelligent person, a professional who has great confidence in his own ideas and is able to motivate an entire group. He has great intelligence.

“I do not want to talk about the players, but Koke has great quality and can grow a lot. Cerci really wants to play in the Champions League, he has quality, speed, is good one-on-one, he will work his own space.”

Del Piero also discussed recent events in Turin, including the change of Coach, from Antonio Conte to Max Allegri.

“He has his game well defined and has not wanted to alter the mechanisms of a squad that has a style of play that clearly works.

“Conte has given so much to Juventus, and has great merit in the three Scudetti. His merits are indisputable, but Juventus are a great team, and sometimes change can allow you to find a new energy.

“Can Juve win the Champions League? It’s only a matter of time, Juventus have to demonstrate that the squad has grown, that they can win in Italy and compete in Europe.”

Speaking to a Spanish publication, the Delhi Dynamos’ new signing was inevitably asked about Fernando Llorente and Alvaro Morata.

“Llorente has proven to be a great player, he has a great physique and great tactical intelligence. It is not easy to adapt to Italian football as he has done, and he is important to the team.

“I do not know Morata to judge him, but I know that he is a young talent who did not find space in Madrid, and Juventus is the right place in which to develop.”

Is this intentional to be dismissive of us or something? Like where in the F would they get that lineup which we've never played ever...
