I see no reason to play MDS instead of Cancelo. U want more defensive coverag?, then play Caceres as a RB but MDS is really out of his depth in the CL. Also offers nothing when defending set pieces.

Like the lineup except for Cancelo getting benched over MDS. The defense possibly could fuck up with anyone in there. And MDS in no guarantee less probable a fuck up will happen. Though with Cancelo in there AM definitely will have to be leery of him playing forward. Once again Max playing not to lose than to win. Playing for a 0-0 away draw makes the home match defense even more pressured not to fuck up. CR7 didn't sign here to play this way. Go up 1-0 ..... 2-0 .... than put MDS in there if you think the defense is that much better. In Max I trust and hopefully it works out.
