Trap is a legend, but possible gone legend. His spells in last decade are not very impressive.
I don't know about that. Forget about Ireland being robbed by France for a moment. Anybody who can step into Benfica and take them to the Portuguese championship in his only season -- for Benfica's only title in the past 16 seasons -- is no small achievement, IMO.

If Trapp, in his age, is willing to come here to clear the mess, and this involves a shit load of work with almost no chance at a title ,I Say hell yeah.

This guy is a legand, not IMO, its a fact.
However, brining him without getting a new technical Dir. is not going to do us any good in the long run.
On a short term with the players we have he is more then able to get us to the CL spot and even to the Europen League cup title.

Yes, we should fire Ferrara (which means paying him out in full obviously), only to replace him with yet another unproven, young coach.
Another coach who is interested in playing free flowing, attacking football. Kinda like Ferrara was before the season started.
Am I the only one who thinks that may not be a good idea?

Oh, and who the hell is Van Bauzen? Google doesn't know him, so I'll assume you meant to say Van Basten. Don't know what to think of him really, but I can't say I would be delighted with him as a coach.
As I thought that I had mentioned, but it appears that I didn't anywhere other than in my head when i was posting last night, i still call him van bauzen, because thats what he was always called on Pro Evolution, a game played by me and many others in england, on the playstation...I assumed it would be obvious who I was referring to. We always left Gullit as Guigu on the commentary, Kohler as Kolka...not because we didnt know their real names, but because the default commentary names were amusing. Guigu especially...

That video alone should intimidate opponents into submission.
i would say it would cause them to roll about the floor laughing allowing us to waltz through their team and win easily but sadly it is us that are bringing out the comedy performances
