Well, maybe the board intends to stick with him and make him Marcello Lippi's (who might return) assistant in summer. But this can be very risky if we should screw the whole season...

-----------------------------------

Juventus problems, according to Leggo, come all from the lack of someone that know about football in the board. There are rumors about the name of Lippi since many time, but now isn't the only one. There are rumors also about Giovanni Trapattoni. Ferrara would be surely happy to can have side by side a man with his experience in the team.

From Daily-calcio.com

John Elkann confirms Ferrara on Juve's bench: "He'll be our coach until the end of the season". Ferrara is the right coach when Lippi will be appointed Juve's general manager after the World Cup. They have a good relationship. Unless Lippi won't accept the job. In that case the scenario could change.

In the meantime Amauri could be replaced. Juve invested 22,8 million euro for him two years ago.

The club are thinking of Giampaolo Pazzini, but Chelsea are also interested with a 20 million euro offer. Another alternative could be Goran Pandev.

If Juventus coach Ciro Ferrara will be sacked, Roberto Mancini is one of the main candidates to replace him. In an interview with Tuttosport, the former Inter Milan coach said today : "I still do not know where and when I will work again, but joining Juventus would be an appealing opportunity. Some people say that I used to talk trash about Juve when I was at Inter, but that is not true. I was just against some of their previous executives, not the club. Moreover, I was a big Juventus fan when I was a kid".

Don't go making such rash statements, because right about now, Mancini seems like the most feasible possibility :D
well i don't want to believe that we will resume to that mediocracy. And if we will do that, i'm gonna watch the matches on livescore, cuz i'm sure that man will turn things to worse.

Tuttosport: Mancio to Juve details

Saturday 12 December, 2009

Tuttosport today rounds up in detail the plan for Roberto Mancini to replace Ciro Ferrara on the Juventus bench.

The Turin-based newspaper suggests that Ferrara is hanging by a thread following the shock Champions League exit to Bayern Munich midweek.

First choice to take over next season should the campaign take a new turn for the worse was Luciano Spalletti, but the former Roma boss has officially signed for Russian club Zenit St Petersburg.

Instead the remarkable claim is that ex-Inter Coach Mancini has a deal to take control of the Bianconeri.

He is now a free agent after terminating his contract with the Nerazzurri, who fired him despite winning three consecutive Scudetti.

Tuttosport suggests Mancio would bring with him an entirely new staff, including fitness coach Ivan Carminati and goalkeeping trainer Giulio Nuciari.

He would also want ex-Lazio director Oreste Cinquini and talent scout Aldo Pecini to become part of his close-knit team.

However, there would be uproar among fans and possibly some of the players, as Mancini was an arch rival of Juve’s and one of their fiercest critics during the Calciopoli scandal.

Sacking now and putting Mancini would be really stupid from the board, you can't correct a mistake with a bigger mistake!

the only reason Mancini won anything was becaue Moratti ordered scudetti on the phone, and when he realized teams will start competing again, he brought Mourinho
