I'd rather keep Ferrara till the end of this season (even if we lost our next two games).

The problem is much bigger than Ferrara and i don't think whoever will replace him would fix things easilly.

Let me put it this way, if anyone could fix it, I think it would be Hiddink. The problem might be bigger than Ferrara, but he definitely isn't helping solving it quickly by the looks of things. Might aswell have a man who knows what he's doing and who's good at building teams.

Are you brain damaged??

Seriously. Prandelli is a loser?? Are you for real? Take a look at what he did with Parma, and then take a look at what he has done with Fiorentina, and then please tell me why he is a loser.
Agreed. The work he's done at Fiorentina is amazing, i really like that he has turned them into a team that consistently aims for the top four.

I don't think anybody can make judgments of Prandelli's ability to manage a 'top side' before he ever gets the chance. I think he deserves the opportunity and IMO would be a fine candidate for consideration for Ferrara's job if a better alternative is not found.

Why do you say that?
Ferrara isn't the only one to be blamed IMO. Things are more complicated than it looks.

I think that both the management and Ferrara being "inexperienced" have done some mistakes since the start of this season and we're seeing the results of these mistakes.

First i think from the very beginning plan A was to buy Diego and play with the 4-3-1-2 formation thats what both Ferrara and our management had in their mind. They "probably" thought that Diego is a similar player to Zidane. Zidane once played in a 5-2-1-2 system and it worked perfectly for us back then.

But what they didn't reallize is that Diego is totally different than zidane (style wise). Zidane is slower, more of a Pure playermaker than anything else. He does keep the ball under he's feet for 5-7 seconds and looks for the through pass to he's teammates, He's style was perfect in serie A.

Diego is more energetic, he doesn't keep the ball long (probably 2-3 seconds before he pass it) he can't really function in the tradition playmaker role in that system. We've played some games at the start of this season and Ferrara reallized that diego can't really play well in that formation.

So he changed it to the current 4-2-3-1 which worked great at the beginning. Diego played well in it and everything went well upfront. The team created decent number of chances and the whole team clicked well. Even though we had problems in the back but Ferrara could've fixed it given some time IMO.

But that formation had a problem, we have a shortage of players that can play in that system. Giovinco-Diego-Camo are the only players we had that can play in this system. Drop one of them and things will get ugly and thats exaclty what happened.

I don't think its coincidence that the two games that Giovinco didn't play in were the ones that our team looked totally clueless upfront ( both bordeaux and cagliari games).

Ferrara had done a mistake in playing Del piero in that role but he probably wanted to test Alex in that role (which was a clear mistake). Again he played with marchisio on the left side in cagliari's game probably thinking that he wants to reserve both Del piero and Giovinco for the next two games.

We need to buy an extra AM in january to help out the whole team. We have a shortage of players who can play that role thats why IMO we're suffering right now.

The combination of minor mistakes by both Ferrara and management have caused all these problems that we're having right now. I don't think that Ferrara is ignorant or dump as some here say but i just think the guy is inexperienced he has done some mistakes but right now we need to wait till january to do something about it.

Don't want even to think about what would Prandelli do with us or Barcelona or anyone else...I'm just sick of waiting and seeing nothing!
Guus is the solution if we want the best results,if we can't afford him let's stick with Ferrara.
End of story!

if the players and Ciro cannot motivate themselves for this game, then we have much bigger problems that this season's Scudetto
The players should be motivated, but I can imagine say... Marchisio thinking: What's the point if I'm being used as a winger?!

They have to be motivated and have faith in the way they play, be confident. You can be motivated but when nobody is really feeling the way of playing I don't think it will work out.

I hope we see every single player fight like their lives depended on it though.

I don't think we'll lose either, but we won't revive our season.
