But when he first came, and at the beginning of the season we were looking pretty good. What's different then than now?
People can read our game like book. They block Diego and than we play long balls

but now, when Spalletti is free, it's just between us an Milan to make a change quicker.
Spalletti cant coach any Italian A or B team this year, as he already did..

It's easy to beat us. Just let 2 defensive midfielders take care of Diego and we're nothing basically.
That's my problem with the 4-3-1-2. If the trequartista is the lone source of creativity, then the team can be easilt stifled when he is marked out. If we had DP and Camo playing at the same time, it wouldn't be as much of a problem, but in their absence, i would prefer the 4-3-2-1 or some other alternative.

For the first time in my life I put almost the complete blame on the coach. He's simply not up to this job. The team is way much bigger than he can handle and we can see that by what he's doing to Diego also giving him a job bigger than he can handle.

We obviously need to change our system and Ferrara is simply refusing to do so. Diego needs someone next to him to help him execute his game. Neither Amauri nor Iaquinta can do that, not Trezeguet either. And we don't have the time to wait for Del Piero. We have two other options though, either Giovinco or Camoransi can do the job but it's obviously to be done at the price of one of the forwards.

It is Ferrara's fault he's not seeing that. We get easily pushed back because we can't play up front. He's still relying on full backs that are not up to the task either.

He'd better change the system or he'd better be changed.
I agree. Actually I would like to see a 4-4-1-1 in the next match with Diego in the hole behind the lone striker, Camo and Giovinco on the wings and Melo and Sissoko in the middle.

With Alex out injured, with the characteristics of our strikers and with their poor form, I don't think havign two central strikers could bring us any good. Besides, with Camo and Gio on the wing we would have more width and would protect our back better as well as create more chances. The match today also shows that it would be better to put Momo back to his old place in the DM position. He looked not very comfortable in the 3-man midfield and rarely difted wide to defend the wing as well as to open space in attack.

In other words, I would like to see the following formation:

Buffon
Zebina Cannavaro Chiellini Grosso
Melo Momo
Camoranesi Giovinco
Diego
Trezeguet

The question is, did we really need 3 defensive midfielders against Fiorentina? It's not like they have Messi, Ibra, Xavi, Iniesta and Henry coming from all sides.

The current formation is officially a FAIL.

I agree with this as well.

" Actually I would like to see a 4-4-1-1 in the next match with Diego in the hole behind the lone striker, Camo and Giovinco on the wings and Melo and Sissoko in the middle."

Maybe one of the CMs should with an attackind style like Tiago maybe.

The midfield wasn't fine. We created nothing from the right side in the first half, nothing. Three DM's is absolute garbage.
There is nothing wrong with three midfielders like Sissoko, Melo and Poulsen today but you need another line in front of them to do produce some game.

Diego alone won't pull the trick, put someone next to him, Giovinco or Camo.
