very well pointed...for this new system to work we need time...Juve doesn't have time, we need victories all the time so what will ciro will do, needs to do it 3 times faster (organising the play, getting the players used with the places, especially those 3 midfielders). I think a whole year is necessary for us to get this 4-3-1-2 working well enough to compete for the scudetto ...it is very sad because we started well, but after the last games we all saw the truth, the flaws..So ciro is in a dilemma here (changing or not the system) but i think he will keep the 4-3-1-2.

Yeah and the dilemma will tell us a lot about his character. Whether he believes that the system he worked on all summer to give the advantage over the whole season or it simply didn't work.

i am fully behind the decision to sack ranieri (or better .. to change the coach), which had his positive effects, but now the positive effects seem to have worn off and the positive effects you held ferrara responsible for where just the usuall effect of changing the coach and now you guys are not man enough to admit that it was not the great saviour ferrara who is "so much better than ranieri", but just the effect we would have had with any new coach.

now i hear people cry how bad it is when we rely on diego while back then everybody said how bad it is to rely on the two wingers (nedved & camo) which would make us soooo predictable ... so where is the logic when relying on two creative forces is worse then relying on one creative force (diego) ... you guys really make less sense and right now i would even think a change back to the old 4-4-2 with gio and diego on the flanks would give us a better chance to compete .. diego already plaid a few games on positions similar to the right wing or left wing position in the 4-4-2 and should do well there.

another thing is the lack of trust from the team in giovinco ... even when he gets subbed in he does not get many balls by his mates ... its like he is being mobbed .. no comparision to how the players search diego

I get this feeling from the group but more importantly from the coach. Which is very concerning considering the amount of talent the guy has but he needs some trust in him.

We don't know what is going on in the background, so lets hope ciro is preparing him to handle the workload, expectation both mentally and tactically.

With all due respect I think Ferrara might not be the right one for this Juve.
His inexperience really hurts the team. Except in the friendlies and in the match versus Roma, he has always been outwitted by the opponent's coaches: Gasperini, Blanc, Van Gaal and even Zenga and Papadopulo, you name it. Had Buffon & Co not have such heroic performances and had we not been that lucky, we would have been lost right at the first game against Chievo (remember the torture they gave us in the second half?).

Stubborn (always stick to the 4-3-1-2, always use 2 strikers etc), clueless (don't know what to do when we were losing), lack of match preparation skills (that was obvious) and lack of motivation skills (what did he do to make fighters like Iaquita and Amauri to act like a lazy-ass in match last night?) are his characters right now.

Of course he can learn and I believe he has the potential to become a good coach, but after spending like 60m this season, can we wait for him to learn from his mistakes? Every point we might lose at this moment would cost us dearly in the future.

But that is not the biggest problem. I fear that the biggest problem is: the longer the team fail to get a good result, the less the players put their trust in Ferrara. If the problem persists, one day they might just ignore the coach and do what they want in the pitch and that is something should never be allowed to happen in Juve.

So, my only hope is that Ferrara is able to learn and fix all the problems quickly in this two international week (and I doubt he is able to do that). Otherwise, the best way might be just to find a replacement coach. The only available option that I can see right now is Spaletti and if we want him we should act quick. Surely he is not perfect but I believe he would be much more experienced that Ferrara and would have done better than him. This serie A already has a Leonardo and that's enough!

anyway, I dont think our issue is the formation realy, its the players that dont preform. small tactical tweaks are necesery for sure but the formation itself playes to the strengths of our squad, no other formation can provide us with better use of the players at hand.

The players are weak mentaly, they dont seem to work as hard on the pitch, they dont chase down players or the ball and dont fight for it hard enough. We miss a leader on the pitch and maybe even a leader on the bench unfortuantly.

Regarding the tweaks the Ciro need to do ,its about the starting lineups. He just cant keep playing with two bug guys upfront. I have no idea why he is the only one that dosnt see it, its so painfully obvious.

I still have faith in him but its not clear anymore who needs to get slaped: the players or Ciro.

Now at the very first opportunity you criticize Ferrara. Why? What has changed? Why not criticize the players anymore?

While some of you been talking for few matches already i was quiet. I am still OK with Ciro, but i do hope we do better than last year not only result vise but game play too.

Is that too much to ask considering 4 new first team players and considering that 95% of you were screaming that anyone is better than CR?
I was for CR to go, but only if better replacement available.

Well this is his first real down in Juve team, and his first defeat. It would be stupid to sack him now.
Im aware that his decitions have been dubious in the last efw games. But more than formations i think is the entality of certain players that is not working.
Ill wait to see what happens. But i sincerely prefer to lose some games with Ciro than wioth Ranieri. Ranieri was a proven failure and stubborn as hell, on the other hand, i cant talk down ciro , he is a classy guy and im hopeful he will find a solution.

But we are indeed in a tricky situation.
