Next step is to work on keeping possession and the midfield imposing themselves on the game more and controlling the tempo properly.
 I think this is the most important thing we need to work on, because that's where we made a lot of mistakes yesterday. More options need to be made available to the person in possession as well, there wasn't a lot of movement from Melo or Marchisio.

I'm well aware that this is going to be very unpopular but do you think that the board made a mistake in appointing someone with as little experience as Ciro?

(I'm in no way turning on Ciro himself.)

Sooner than later, Ferrara was going to disappoint us for some time. His not God; he can commit mistakes. It's a good issue that he makes mistakes now not in a knockout match.

    I believe in him.

We need more time to judge Ciro precisely...
Also injuries aren't helping him to express himself in the ideal way.
About him last night, I thought he is adventurous more than he was last night!

It's going as well as could be expected.

He'll make the odd mistake, but that's fine so long as he learns from it.

Let's not start jumping on Ciro's just yet. He's made a few mistakes(which is expected seeing to the limited experience he has) here and there, but overall he's doing a very good job.

Don't forget that he's bringing in a completely new tactical system a completely different playing style and in the meanwhile has had relatively good results. You guys have played some tough away games. Roma, Genoa and Bayern are games that you could easily have lost(theoretically i mean). Despite all that you guys are yet to lose a game.

I think he's done fairly well taking into consideration the circumstances.

I think i did answer your question.

The point i was making was that Ciro has done a good job till now. Therefore the early indications suggest that the board did not make a mistake in hiring a coach as inexperienced as Ciro.

I was a bit skeptical to begin with, because of his lack of experience, and the concern is still there

Nothing worse than learning on the job, and those mistakes could cost us dearly

i think he has what it takes to become a good manager, he will make mistakes as anyone does when there learning, but he has good people around him not to mention one of the best coaches in the world at his back.

no team, new tactics, injuries to important players like diego, del piero, sissoko...6 weeks into serie A and 2 CL games..yet to lose a game....honestly, i dont think he snould be criticised. No doubt we need to improve, but this will come.

Imagine we had a fully fit del piero and sissoko in this team, we'd be a lot better.
