Gasperini cannot coach Juve this season as he has already coached one team in Serie A this season.
Was talking about the ideal replacement for Ferrara, not an immediate one. It's why I mentioned Hiddink as a great appointment right now, but when it comes to the bigger picture I prefer Gasperini.

no point in talking about ciro replacements because we know the reason he was given the two games after christmas was because the board knows that the players will lift themselves for at least one of those games (just like they did against merda) regardless of ciro and that will give them their reason to give him a stay of execution.

[FONT=Arial,Helvetica,Geneva,Swiss,SunSans-Regular]Juventus could turn to Brazilian World Cup winning boss Luiz Felipe Scolari should they decide to sack Ciro Ferrara mid-season.

Turin daily Tuttosport is today suggesting that the South American is another contender to take the Old Lady hotseat should the axe fall on Ferrara.

The current tactician is under extreme pressure after an appalling run of form saw them drop nine points behind leaders Inter, as well as crashing out of the Champions League at the group stage.

A host of tacticians have been associated with Juve in recent weeks but Scolari is seemingly a strong option.

Currently at Uzbekistan side Budnyodko, he could be tempted by the lure of the Italian giants after his difficulties at Chelsea last season.

The former Portugal boss failed to prove his worth at Stamford Bridge and was replaced by Guus Hiddink, the Russian national Coach who has also been associated with Juve recently.

Scolari, who is understood to have Italian language skills, would also be expected to get the best out of Diego, Felipe Melo and Amauri.

The Brazilian trio have all disappointed so far this season. The first two have failed to settle following summer moves, while the striker has netted just four goals.

Other possible candidates for the role are Alberto Zaccheroni and former Italian Under-21 boss Claudio Gentile.

Roberto Mancini was another option until he was hired by Manchester City last week after the shock dismissal of Mark Hughes.

Other reports today suggest that if Juve want Hiddink then he will cost them a massive £4m a season.
