Ranieri did a lot more than that...we never had a team to seriously challenge for the Scudetto under his leadership...the way it ended was quite messed up, but to shit all over his tenure in Turin is very unfair

I didn't, he did a fine job the first season, I just don't think he should have remained for a second. I am still grateful for that 2-1 away over Inter.

The board brought him in to "steady the ship" and he did just that

:agree: Coming back from Serie B and immediately and winning a Champions league place is quite an achievement!

Not to memtion we were undefeated against all the top clubs in the league and that magnificent win at the San Siro!

12 goals in 3 games in the league with the new 4-2-3-1. Ahh, remember the good old times with the 4-3-1-2 when we barely came close to the opponents goal? I wish Ciro would just throw that pathetic formation away.

He already threw away that formation. We're playing 4-2-3-1 for 5 consecutive games now.

I think 4-3-1-2 is much more different with Del Piero. It's more like a Xmas tree formation. Ale can help the midfield a lot spreading out some classy touches.

4-3-1-2 with two of IQ, Amauri and Trezeguet is an epic fail I guess.
