What exactly have you seen him offering?
Shielding the defense rather well, not making bonehead giveaways like the Sissoko everyone has a hard on for, and generally being one of the better players this season. He has a calm influence on our game, which is not what we can say about Sissoko, Melo, Camo, and several other players.

This has been fairly obvious, but the short memories will only look to his recent Danmark matches.

Nope. If I haven't seen a someone play at least 10 matches, I rather wait and do it before I can make any kind of judgement. That particular one just caught my eye and always makes me laugh.
Thing is, by watching Poulsen play, I came to the conclusion that he might not be an expert at "making bonehead giveaways", (like Melo), but he is no better than Sissoko (who has a lot more body strength on his favour).
Both share the same passing skills

It's quite a statement to name Poulsen as "one of the better players this season". First because it was an awful season and we let in 56 goals (IIRC) in Serie A alone. And secondly, because I can't remember a single game this year where he caught my eye, scored a goal or produced an assist.

I don't rate any of the 3 midfielders you mentioned highly, but if I have to choose 1 destroyer to shield the defense next year, then I would trust Sissoko to do the job.

Anyway, it's no use keeping this argument.
You rate him. I don't.
We'll just have to agree to disagree on this.

So because it was an awful season, we can't point out that some players were better or showed more promise than others? That's weird.

It's good for you to have seen some good qualities and promise in him :hi:

Specially when shielding our leaking defense. (now that's weird :shifty: )

I haven't!

Seriously, whatever rocks your world man! It's 5am. I'm out..

Sissoko's passing is awful. Poulsen's is really quite good (apart from that one video you posted, which proves absolutely nothing).

Its not like he played every game this season. The ones he did play he passed well, he did his job defensively. If you wanna ignore the facts and shift blame to a player who frankly doesn't deserve it then be my guest but you're still wrong. I don't rate him necessarily. But I don't blame him for the poor season and I don't think he is nearly as bad as its being made out. At least he did his job unlike most of this team.
