it's just a weak rumour. but i would welcome such move, if D'Ago came i would rather see Tiago going, but since it's Melo, who joined us, there is hardly any room for Poulsen. i like the dane and liverpool would suit him well (as would arsenal in my opinion), so an offer around 7 million pounds would be nice.

Calle Ocho, pitbull! Anyways, I want Keri Hilson my lap that would be nice too. ;)Liverpool aren't going to buy Poulsen basically lol.

EDIT:
Aquilani is probably the only player from Serie A going to Liverpool.

He'd sit the bench. I don't see us signing him if we sell Alonso. What would be the point of signing Poulsen if we have a crap ton of cash to spend. If we throw down 7 million to sign him as a back up and keep Xabi then that's fine. It's merely speculation at this point. Being a Liverpool fan is so hard during the summer. All our good players get linked with other teams and every player on the European continent is linked with us.

Even Lucas is linked to a return trip to Brazil.

Poulsen isn't a bad player at all. He played his role and lived up to his relatively modest expectations. The guy even still trained hard after Ciro said he had no place for him.

The guy is mostly caught as the legacy of a failed transfer strategy that is finally getting corrected.

Poulsen is pretty cool. He fights hard for the team and gives people shit. We just didn't need him here.
He wouldn't play everyday at Liverpool and if Spearing gets 1st team action against the weaker sides like Rafa said earlier this summer he could find himself in a similar situation. IMO his best option would be Fulham where he'd be "the man".

I would be ok with Poulsen if we got him for like 5-6million in addition to signing an attacking option like David Villa or David Silva.

Poulsen shouldn't go to Fulham. He can do better than that. Arsenal would be great but they are foolish with transfers.

I heard Monaco were interested. There don't seem to be too many top tier teams looking at him. Perhaps his age is a factor?

If we could loan him with an option to buy I'd welcome him with open arms. It just seems to me that purchasing an 29 year old DM who may need time to "settle in" is just silly.

He didn't exactly need much time to settle in at Juventus.

I'm sure there are other teams out there who would take him.
