Poulsen linked with Fiorentina
Juventus' Danish midfielder Christian Poulsen has today been linked with Fiorentina as a replacement for Felipe Melo.

Melo joined Juventus from the Viola earlier this summer and his arrival, along with the presence of Mohammed Sissoko, Tiago and Cristiano Zanetti means that Poulsen is most likely to be offloaded.

Earlier this week it was reported that Poulsen had begun training with Juventus' reserve and youth squads, a further sign that he is unwanted at the Old Lady.

Corriere Dello Sport has reported that Fiorentina are interested in the services of the Denmark International, who made 25 appearances for Juve last season.

Poulsen had been linked with Lyon, Everton, Fulham and Liverpool. However, with Liverpool announcing the signing of Roma's Alberto Aquilani, the chances of Poulsen arriving in England are looking slimmer.

Fiorentina may struggle to meet the Dane's high wage demands, but they are certainly in the market for a defensive midfielder after Melo's departure. With his Serie A experience Poulsen will certainly fit the bill for a new signing, but the deal is far from done.

Secco is still completely incompetent on selling players!
He is just not into that!!
The maximum transfer fee he can get for any player is 2.5 mil...

This is a major financial blow for our club! We cannot minimize the damage we made from the wrong choices. If we loan out Almiron and Poulsen forever, we will lose a great amount of money, as they lose value buy the year, considering they are growing older, still considered unsettled and even worse, moving closer to the expire day of our contract.

Secco's incompetence to sell players has already cost to our club millions upon millions.
I understand that having an incompetent transfer manager means that we will overpay for almost every player, just like we did every year and that we will also sell those players for a price lower to their real one.
This double commission of commercial amateurism was expected and would be translated to millions, but this has gone far too far!!!
We have released a great batch of squad players for nothing and sold out decent players for peanuts, we have to stop doing that!!

Loaning out Poulsen and Almiron would be a disaster!
We should start creating some income from our transfer activities, we are a prestigious club and we have ranked high enough to claim decent sums for our players...

“Almiron to Bari is a possibility, but we will not give Poulsen to Fiorentina. I can confirm we will do everything we can to sell these two players, though.”

Even though I don't think Poulsen has a place at Juve...I have to respect that he turned down a big pay rise to play for Fenerbache, and wants to prove himself to us here. I hope we're all wrong about him!
