While the 2.5 million sale of Zanetti may have left a bitter after-taste for the small fee, its the loss of a competent midfielder that hurts more. But then again, it probably meant Poulsen is staying and I still believe he still has a lot to give and that he can replace Sissoko and Melo's position, he's gonna be very useful.

Looking back, Secco may have save Juve a good 5 to 8 million by tying down Diego so quickly in the summer.

If we r a prestigious club, we keep our good players that can help us to achieve that prestige.
Also, if Juve starts selling their players for 10-15 million Euro on a consistent basis, we will have become a small provincial selling club or we r heading back to Serie B !!!

That means we're left with only one tackling DM.

D'Agostino will cost too much and we don't necessarily need him anymore.
Last year Marchisio covered really well after sissoko got injured in March agianst Torino, specially in the champions league, he was the best Midfielder agianst chelsea and took care of both Ballack and Lampard. I do trust Marchisio as a good enough destroyer. Him and Melo can alternate until Momo is back. Regarding the price of D'ago, I think pozzo won't be idiot to refuse an offer in the range 15-18 million, he knows that there is no way somebody would pay that much money, and it's his only opportunity to cash on him. As you said, I do agree that D'Ago will be a little bit expensive, and I'd rather that money be spent on defense instead

I, for one, am glad that Poulsen is staying, though I would have preferred it wasn't at the expense of Zanetti.

Hopefully the real Poulsen will show up this season.

Agree as long as he plays DM....if he plays as a half-winger in the diamond formation he does not look great (from the friendlies)..Maybe it's just his form...who knows.

In fitness training pre-season, he owned every1. He worked hard despite knowing he was being shopped around. Coupled with the fact he refused a bigger contract to stay with Juve and fight for a spot, I think (hope) he will do better this season.
