Please don't try to mislead this. Hamsik wasn't the primary suggestion or anything. It was just a way of telling how Poulsen's transfer money could go to something even better. Are you seeking for Poulsen's clone or what? The players I stated will obviously work somewhat different. You make it sound like Poulsen worked perfect on his DM spot. We will most likely change our tactics too in the upcoming season so I don't understand why a midfielder like Poulsen is so hard to replace. We already have Sissoko who most likely will play as a defensive midfielder.
Can you guarantee us the Sissoko will play in every game for 90 minutes next season, and that he will not leave us durig African nations cup?? If you can than let's sell Poulsen immediately.

Yes I can. Nostradamus was my anchestor so I've inherited some of his supernatural powers. I'm therefore able to predict the future outcome of Juventus and do my best to guide our team to greater success. :agree:

What baffles me is why Secco wants to get rid of Poulsen so badly when we have that sack of garbage called Tiago (not so much due to his lack of ability but because of his negative attitude and unwilingness to fight it out for a place on the team), who in my mind should go first. Poulsen has been solid when called upon, and warrants at least another season with us as far as I am concerned.

I believe Poulsen will fetch somewhere in the region of 7 million pounds, while Tiago might bring in 5 million pounds. Hence, why the discrepancy in the treatment of both players, when one will only fetch 2 million more on the market, yet his value to the team far exceeds that of the other player?

because Thiago is probably gonna cost more to offload, he is on a huge wage package and will be demanding recompense if the club he goes to will not match his current package. we really need to try to offload him to an EPL club with more money than sense

But it wont make any sense, to keep Tiago, if we are really after Dago.
Who is going to defend when Sissoko, will be injured/suspended/in Africa?

Marchisio is not specialized for that, he can cope if he has another DM besides him, but he cant deliver Sissoko's defensive work.
CZ is no longer capable of doing that either and chances are that he will be injured again. Tiago and Dago cant defend and Camo isnot a DM either.

I think we should better lose some money to retain the defensive coverage
Poulsen can give and the tactical ability to select a formation with two DMs (4-2-3-1) Unless of course we are buying Diarra instead of Dago...
