It was not an open fracture, it was a wound that he got from Gattuso's studs.
A broken fibula is much less complicated than a broken tibia. He doesn't need any surgery because the fracture is not complicated. No ligaments were damaged. The official news is that within 30 days he'll be back working on the pitch.

I was surprised to see him actually. Didn't hear he returned from injury. Was one of the few players who was decent during the horrible second quarter of the season we had. Good to have him on the bench.
