Ultras want Camoranesi sold Tuesday 27 July, 2010

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Juventus’ ultras have made no secret of the fact they want players like Mauro Camoranesi sold this summer.

The Bianconeri need to sell players if they are to bring in further reinforcements ahead of next season.

Camoranesi is in the final year of his contract and has let it be known that he won’t leave Turin unless an attractive offer arrives.

Greek side Olympiacos agreed a fee for the 33-year-old earlier this month, but couldn’t match Camoranesi’s wage demands.

Yesterday, the Vikings Curva Nord unveiled a banner at Juventus’ training camp in Varese that read: “We will make those players who have to leave, but want to stay go through a year of hell.”

Camoranesi isn’t the only player in the ultras’ sights. Christian Poulsen and Fabio Grosso have also been called 'mercenaries’.

Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta reportedly met with representatives from Hercules Alicante yesterday to discuss Camoranesi’s future.

The newly promotion Spanish side are interested in giving Camoranesi a two-year contract worth €1.5m a season, but it remains to be seen whether he will accept.

Ah, yes. The wonderful Ultras.

Do they understand that Poulsen isn't really a mercenary, given that he has rejected deals from Turkey that are more lucrative than the one he is on at Juve?

And, though Camoranesi should leave this summer, he deserves better treatment from the Ultras considering how much he has given to Juve over the years.

Mercenary or not, he has to go. If he keep rejecting offers, i can see him becoming an official hate figure and eventually replace Balotelli after draining 30 million euros of the club and leaving for free. You just can't flop 3 seasons in a row and leave for free.

He didn't flop last season. Sissoko did. Can we have Sissoko out please? He's draining our budget.

Ah yes, our medics have learned so much from him.

You wanna talk about players draining our budget, its the players who don't even have the capability to contribute to the team. At least Sissoko can potentially have a good season, we've got other players who deserve much more to be defined as the 'dead weight' in our squad - Zebina, Grosso, Tiago, Salihamidzic etc.

oh, so zebina was never good going forward and tiago never had good performances (for other teams though ... even recently in the world cup) ? you are being biased ;)

i don't say that we should not get rid of zebina (and the others) since grygera is good enough as backup for motta (at least he will be available and not injured, when motta is out)

I like who is useful for Juventus. I didn't hate Sunday Oliseh and Olivier Kapo back then but now we are not in position to tolerate wasting 30 million € on garbage. It hurts our mercato badly.

If you wonder why it is 30 million €, i explained it as wages + taxes + potential income. You can ask it anybody you want. Paying 6.6m € to Poulsen for each year is a murder. This is simply not logical as we are not in wealth.

Moggi: Priorities should be to sell Grygera and Poulson :p

Im wondering if there's a Moggi and Poulson fan here?
:agree: , most of poulsen work goes unnoticed as somebody over me said, so maybe his salary is to high but that will not hide the fact that poulsen is an exceptional player

moggi said it just because of christians salary, not because he is not a good player
