He doesn't have to be special to be creative. Those were two different sentences, in one i was wondering why the standards have become so low, and how any player is being labeled "creative" these days, in the other sentence i was commenting on Poli's overall ability, I see nothing special in him. He's just your average midtable team player.

Reasoning for his play are weird. You never see anyone say "he's good at ----" not once. And there's no wonder, because he offers as much as Tiago. Whoever laughed at Tiago and wants Poulsen to stay is biased because they are not the same level here - it's just that you don't see own goals from Christian. Some also say that he's good at reading the game. Well, you know what, bullshit. You can say the same fucking thing for Grygera, same fucking thing.

Any good offer should be accepted. This guy is clueless when it comes to Serie A and more importantly Juventus.

see i appreciate that sort of player,the no nonsense guy in the middle of the park that just goes about his job quietly but always end up getting a lot of stick whenever he actually does something wrong. i feel Poulsen is greatly underrated by many in here,Thiago is a different point comletely,he was never the guy to hold a midfield together...comparing him is like comparing delpie to trezegol,same area,different style

When Poulsen is being invisible, that means he's doing his job. He isn't a flashy player, he isn't a playmaker. His responsibilities include being a utility worker, getting the job done in front of the defense and successfully making passes to more talented players. Poulsen isn't a great passer, but he is miles ahead of Sissoko. The latter's job is to spark havoc and while he does that, his idiocy with the ball stifles our play far too much... to the point of it being detrimental to our play. And I've had it with this nonsense from one-dimensional players.

Poulsen might not be an athlete like Sissoko, but at least he has a brain.

You are grossly underrating Poulsen, a player in which I don't even rate so highly. But it is clear he does add a sort of calmness to our game. Moreover, it's also clear that him being invisible is actually a good sign, meaning that he is doing his job. If he was visible, he'd probably be making poor passes or other mistakes. Players like him get very little credit but they are necessary in the game.

i was a big fan of Emerson,he never got a lot of credit or a lot of love on these boards.now i have to say Poulsen is not anywhere near his class but he is certainly the most reliable man for the job within our current ranks

But Seven's logic is pretty simple, if people don't expect you to win trophies and you don't, then your not a big club.

Take these concerns to Seven, its not me that says Juve isn't a big club.

All in all, i don't think that Arsenal is historically a big club. I think we're the Holland of club football, but right now, we are easily in the top 6 clubs in Europe over the past few years.
