Montella With Roma Through Next Decade

Roma striker Vincenzo Montella extended the contract binding him to the Giallorossi until 2010.
“I signed the new contract because I have a lot of faith in this club,” said the Serie A top-scorer at the press-conference announcing his renewal.
“I am proud to be part of the Roma project for some years to come,” he added.
The daughter of Roma chairman Sensi, Rosella, thanked Montella for deciding to stay at Roma.
“I thank Vincenzo for the faith he showed to have in this club. Montella represents all that we look for in a player, charisma, technical abilities, and motivation. To improve we need players like him,” she said.
