Juventus regrouped in Vinovo this afternoon to begin their preparations for Sunday’s return to Serie A action against Chievo.
After contesting four consecutive encounters under the floodlights, Antonio Conte’s men will take on the Gialloblu in a lunchtime kick-off at the Stadio Bentegodi.
And following last Saturday’s home draw against Genoa and Tuesday night’s cruel Coppa Italia exit at the hands of Lazio, the Bianconeri will be fully focused on extending their three point lead at the top of the championship when they square up with Eugenio Corini’s mid-table outfit.
The hosts, however, are not to be underestimated and approach the encounter off the back of a surprise 1-0 win over Lazio at the Stadio Olimpico.
With this in mind, Conte gathered his troops on the training ground to run through the battle plan for Sunday’s clash. Those involved in last night’s 2-1 defeat in the capital conducted a warm-down, while the remaining players were put through their paces in a regular workout.
In order to approach the unique kick-off time in the best possible condition, Juventus will continue their preparations at midday tomorrow.
