We are probably pulling a Man U and getting a Chinese guy on our team not playing him and getting alot of Asian support while the jersey sails pay for his salary plus some. There are alot of people to be won over and they arent die hard fans over there.

thats true a lot of people can be won over i am from the asian region but i can speak only for my country , there is albeit limited fan support for this great club , most of the guys and even the media are busy supporting their epl teams and always think England will win whatever tournament they play in.I recently sent a letter to a local paper stating for more media coverage of Serie A and as such but suprise surprise no blood reponse from them keep trying, thats all right with majority's blind patriotism to England and epl teams i usually make small sum betting against England and some Epl teams esp in the knock out phases of competitions :D

I just know that j park or whatever his name is has sold alot of jerseys for not playing. But it might not translate over to serie a. Although I think we could get some attention by doing this.

Isn't there a rule that Serie A teams can only have X non-EU players in their squad? If so, this guy would be a bit of a waste.

Tell me about it , i sent emails to Starhub(Cable Guys) and Espn/Starsports to get this issue resolve , Starhub has advised that ball is in the court of ESPN/Starsports so if worst comes to worst lets do a petition to get this moving how about that, if u got friends into Serie A get to email them or sent to the New Paper like i just did , lets fight for this :)

their is a big cultural difference between Europeans and Asian players. I'm in China right now and I can tell you people have a very different mentality.
If we are to buy any Asian player we should make sure they are felt at home.
There is no way they can be excellent on the pitch if they are not fully integrated in the italian way of life.

I can only think of 1 out of 4 in the last 10 years who did adjust to Italian life...not good odds!
