B class? I don't think so. Veron was a waste of money imo, but Bridge has proven himself to be one of the best left backs in England (along with Cole and Barry) while the likes of Crespo, Mutu, Duff and Makelele were great signings. They haven't been 100% vintage, but they're still fantastic performers.

Now, now, Duff is the best left winger I know of. Giggs and Kewell can't hold a candle to him nowadays. He reminds me of Figo at his prime.

Duff is not better than Giggs or Pires, but for his age, he's easily the best winger out there.

Pires hasn't been the same since his injury (though admittedly he was truely amazing before it). I don't think Giggs can carry a team as consistantly as Duff was at Blackburn. The proof of the pudding is in the eating, and Duff showed he can do the same for Chelsea, even though he was out of position a lot of the time at the tip of a diamond midfield.

Duff is an amazing player....absoloute class, one of, if not the best left wingers in the world....he has to be one of the most underrated players world wide.

When chelsea have him playing they are like a different much much much better team. Without him they look staid at times...any notice chelsea loss of early season form coincides with the injury of duff??

Duff certainly carries any team that he's on whether Blackburn, Chelsea, or the Irish National Team; he's an important part. I'd still have ot give the nod to Giggs and Pires, because they are better wingers. It's not their fault that the rest of their team is good enough that they don't need to be carried.

pires and giggs are more versatile, unpredictable players than duff.

duff's got alot of potential about him and his close control is spectacular.but somehow i find that he often makes the same choices and although he does do what he does very well he ain't that fexible.
