First of all, you've got to subtract the losses for this year, then you've got to get more realistic numbers for those players. Trez may fetch 10 million and a player, but I doubt we can get 20 million for him. As for Di Viao, he's not worth more than 5 million at this point. If we don't want him, why would anybody, with 10 million to spend, want him?
And what makes you think we're gonna sell Di Vaio in the first place? We've only just acquired his full contract.
I think we should give him more of a chance. IMO he has the potential to score 20+ goals again, provided we just give him some playing time and confidence. Sure, you might say that he's come on at halftime in some matches and missed some howlers, but everyone saw what happened when Del Piero was injured. Di Vaio stepped up his game and made scoring goals look easy. I'd rather keep him than sell him for 5m
As for selling Trezeguet, I think we can get more than 10m for him. He's one of the most highly rated strikers in Europe, and luckily Abramovich and Laporta don't know as much about Trez as we do :LOL:

So you think we'll keep Trez and not get Gilardino? That might well happen, but IMO we should go through with the deal. With the cash we could (potentially) get from Trez's sale alone, we could sign Gila, plus strengthen our defence too. It's a perfect deal imho;
