I think that the article just tried to emphasize their financial management. Chelsea players' and managers' salaries are by far the highest in England. It was also mentioned that they plan to balance their books by 2010.

Article was in Russian, so unfortunately I can't paste it here.

Graham, a press conference held by chelsea president, Buck, saying that the club will not appeal UEFA dictamen, because they need to care about club image and centering more in football" is a clear indicator that even Chelsea considers him guilty.
Knowing Mourinho, this will piss him enough to begin is classic war-against-directives opera, much like he did his last year in Porto. And Buck has enough problems with investigations about dirty money investments to add a conflictive situation with the dress room...

He can even win the Champions league and left Chelsea at the end of the season...improbable? He do it with Porto last year...:D

Actually I wouldn't be so eager if I were you,Graham.Mourinho is pretty pissed right now that the club has decided against appealing the ban, and,in the words of one of his backroom staff, "he's fighting, fighting fighting but without anyone behind him."The chairman and Kenyon have denied him the talks he demanded when he heard of the club's decision not to appeal against the ban.

Also,he is apparently fuming at the lack of support from Peter Kenyon about the Ashley Cole tapping up incident. He's like a rebelling kid whose parents are on the side of the teachers.
