I honestly don't see that stopping the problem, it'll still be open to interpretation. Take Charles Manson and the Beatles for example.

meh, it will reduce their number to ~1000 in 20-30 years

They can't do shit. It's not their fault anyway. Sure it's good to speak out and state your position but that's not gonna change anything.

Man, Hitler should've executed muslims instead of Jews.
 shit just got real

It's what you get with fairly constant terrorist attacks in the name of Islam. Not to mention the fact that the muslim community never responds harshly to these attacks either. The lack of response might even indicate a sort of sympathy for this kind of behaviour.

Yes, I too see life becoming hard for muslims. But there comes a point where you have yourself to blame.
what exactly does the muslim community need to do?

what does ali in belgium need to to about paris? do you think that just because 2 muslims are the same religion that they identify with each other? what are you doing about gun violence? domestic violence? white crime is still happening. why arent you doing anything about it? this may shock you but most muslims are concerned with the same thing you are. educations, work, food, taxes..etc.

and most muslims leaders do work with police and intelligence communities. almost all these recent terror attacks the suspects were known to police so it's not like it happens suddenly. you can blame bureaucracy and lack of police funding/action for part of these recent events.

This. This only means that all muslims are potentially terrorists unless they explicitly separate themselves from the horrendous actions of others. For the shit which is happening in the middle-east and is directly related to what American governments have been doing in that region for a long time, who has ever asked American people to separate themselves from "American crimes" committed by democratically elected American governments? Funny thing is however that American people should actually feel responsible for choosing criminals such as Bush to be their presidents.

This is absolutely disgusting. After what happened in Sydney this #iwillridewithyou went viral and people were like, see, even though these barbarians are killing us and taking our people hostage, we are still so cute that we offer our help and protection to them. Fact is, the real barbarians are those who are living in this very democratic west who force you to be human enough to stand by people who are ridiculed, threatened and marginalized for the crimes totally unrelated to them.

That's an awesome point. Look at the US. No one asks us to separate ourselves from the drone strikes that kill thousands. Reza Aslan set it best about Islamic violence. To paraphrase, he said something to the effect of muslim violence in France is not a muslim problem but a French problem, muslim violence in Saudi Arabia is a Saudi problem not a muslim problem, etc. The problem is that many people want just to look at a few examples and paste those generalizations over a giant populace. It's unfair and majorly hypocritical.

When a crime is committed on the premise of religion it gets blown further out of proportion.

Next time a Russian commits a crime in the states I'm coming after RUS because he needs to do something about it.

I don't know if that's a lame attempt at trolling or it's just a disgusting and stupid comment. If you do believe in that last part, then in all honesty you are no better than the terrorists. Such a disgusting thing to say.
