The shit linesman called that for the player tripping himself who didn’t even call for a foul. As with the other decisions, the ‘French idiot’ was all too happy to defer.
Yeah, when an abitral team makes decisions solely in favour of one team this blunt, holy crap
For me it doesn’t matter if it is the ref, linesmen, var or the 4th ref. They are a team and influence each other. They should be neutral and in favour of a fair game. Yesterday was a clear show case of the opposite

Obviously clean but we cant just whine about every decision.
The important thing is we won!

I was wondering how we play when we get into troubles like a red card or a goal down. First time we get into these kind of troubles with Motta. The team reacted amazingly.
Saw the Conceicao goal about 2 hours after it happened. I would probably wake my whole house should I see it live so at least there is a positive in it.
Conceicao did a Messi...

I dont think any of it was intentional even if it did favor one team.

If it wasn’t intentional, they are simply not good enough to refereeing at CL level

Yes we need to complain. During our league winning streak, other Italian teams always cried against Juve which slowly led to referees in Serie A not giving us 50/50 decisions because they would be called ‘controversial.’

Well the problem is that people are human and they make mistakes. They are influenced by events.
For example the ref in Juve vs Real Madrid (Cardiff) - was way more horrible IMO - He gave a red card to Cuadrado over a Ramos acting.
The goal we scored or conceded (cant remember exactly) - when there was a guy that wasnt in VAR`s camera angles so they missed him.

The foul over nothing was ridiculous but I dont blame the ref for this but I do blame the linesman - IF you dont see a foul you dont just assume its a foul!
If there is a problem you got VAR to cover for your error but you cant just dismiss a potential goal.
The linesman should get demoted obviously. The ref is a victim of the poor linesman in this particular incident.

Its not the whining that caused it... It was FIGC and Calciopoli.

Yeah, I understand, however then the mistakes should be equally distributed amongst both teams.

1. fuck uefa
2. what a game
3. what a shitshow defensively. Red card, throwing Kalulu into new positions and juggling our wingbacks every game explains it a little bit but we were very lucky to not concede there a couple more goals. Soo much luck/last moment clearances.

Openda hitting the post twice, this could have all gone a different way, phew. Thank god our luck turnaround.

Tbh it’s a well known fact that teams need a fair share of luck to be able to go far in this competition, so hopefully we can benefit even more from it moving forward.

Although having two key players injured and another one red carded during this game would suggest anything but luck.

Luck is needed...
Take it and say thank Lord...

2003, we would be out if not for Tudor last minute goal
Last 2 RM titles,, they were lucky all along the knock out rounds in both

Absolutely incredible game. Great determination to hang on with 10 men. I haven't felt this emotional in at least 5 years.

Starting a player like Savona in a fairly important Champions League game speaks volumes of what Motta is about.

With 40 minutes still to play, to take off a defender after going down to 10 men and putting on a midfielder and telling the team to continue to attack irrespective of result, is absolutely breathtaking.

FUCK UEFA.
