indeed but those juve teams were miles ahead of today's team. i hope we will concentrate on the league and win it and the finally get an attacker of class or a young potential young wc striker. as long as the likes of matri starts in cl we will struggle vs everyone. everyone could see hé was and will never be a cl worthy striker.
and yes we played vs freaking nsj who have players who played last year in the second league of holland. so yes this is a horrible result even a juve C team should beat those fuckers.

But he isn't.
Maybe he would have been useful, maybe he wouldn't who knows, the man is quite old to be of any real uses to us besides the "aura". The fact is Del Piero now is as relevant as Bonipert, Scirea or even our beloved Diego. What's the point in saying our whole team is worth shit compared to Del Piero's expirience?

I'm afraid we'll lose in Donetsk unless they secure qualification as the top of the group prior to our game. Let's hope Shakhtar gets something out of Chelsea in Stamford Bridge.

I think we are just pointing out that he would have been useful in such a game. Go back to the Lazio game, Del Piero, is still in a position to score important goals.
Regardless, this result still pisses me right off, so angry. I cannot see us qualifying, it all depends on Chelsea and I think they have enough dynamism to at least draw with us at home, I also don't think they will lose to Shaktar in London. Anyway, hopefully this opens up Marotta's eyes. We could compete quite well if it were a two legged tie, I am far more confident in our team doing that but it is in the group stages that not having a game changer hurts us IMO.
