AC Milan 0-0 Internazionale FC (FT)

Outside the draw result, the game was quite attractive :)
Milan's attacking was really fantastic, too bad they've lost so many chances. Pippo and Sheva only produced offsides there
Credit point for a man with a lion heart, Gennaro Ivan Gattuso.
Such brilliant man with superb fighting spirit :thumb:
He deserves to be the man of the match! ;) Thumbs up for him!:thumb:

Inter gotta pressure so much from Milan side but Toldo (who else ;) ) still with his fantastic performance.
The captain, Javier Zanetti (the only Inter player that I admire much) have played very well too!
Crespo, Recoba/Kallon actions seemed not jeopardized Milan's def
at all, too defensive play from Inter.

Well, wins or at least 1-1 draw (or more) in the 2nd leg could make Milan thru the final. :)

I didn't think it was such a good-looking game. When Inter had 10 men defending... that was awful.

But anyways, I'd rather share the brilliance of my commentator than just whinge, so here goes -

Inzaghi is up front waiting for a pass after his 3 prior offsides. Commentator: "And a pass to Inzaghi, who is acutally onside..... oh no, he's offside, I should have known better."

In other thoughts, today was the first time I've seen Canna with short hair this season... he looks quite like Donny Osmond.

At least milan tried, but at the end i think that milan was thinking like
"why we have to risk ourselves and attack? when they dont want to play soccer"

Recoba has done nothing imo...There's no linkage between him and Crespo at all. Crespo had his chances, just poor finishing. I think Inter only played their best in the last 5-10 minutes (especially after Martin's goal) They should've at least tried, and not wait till the last minute. And to be fair to Milan, they are more likely to go through, even though they're sitting back from Sheva's goal

That Materazzi really deserves the beating of a lifetime....

Several games I've seen him brutally slaughter players without warning. Today was extreme, just as Lazio-Inter last season. He really needs to be stopped.

For me, Inter should blame Hector Cuper entirely.

You see the danger Inter caused Milan when they actually attack. If Cuper had any damn sense he would use his great attack since the begining of the season.

Maybe his tactic works, but it won't work enough for them to actually win anything.

I was supporting Inter, and believe it or not, I prayed that Kallon and Martins would start instead of Crespo and Recoba. I am sure you saw the difference when they came on.

Inter, what a bunch of wasted talents.
