Salihamidzic rarely ownes someone and the guy he completely owned tonight (before he sent that high cross in Real's box) was no-one else but Cannavaro.
Canna had a bad match, imo.
I liked when Ramos grabbed him by his shirt and it looked like a penalty, but he never gave in and still tried to get the shot in. No dive and no protest towards the referee. Great personality, it's the Balkan in him that refuse to lose

Lol, maybe it is.

Actually, i expected to see Salihamidzic from the start. He played more CL matches than any other player in Juve (including Del Piero). If i'm not wrong this was his 87th CL match and experience does count in CL.

After a month of diappointing and frustrating draws and defeats to inferior sides. We finally come out on top, none the less against Real Madrid. This is just one of these games where the players were giving it their all, everyone defended, everyone was disciplined, everyone had the Juventus spirit pumped back into them again.

It was refreshing to see Sissoko's inch perfect tackles again, his tireless determination, his colossal presence in the middle.

It was rejuvenating to see Molinaro playing like a footballer. If only he played every game this well, we might have a decent player in our hands.

It was beautiful to see that after all those years, Pavel Nedved still has that unmatchable commitment and dedication for Juve.

It was great to see Chiellini putting out another one of his monstrous performances aganst a European giant.

It was beautiful to see Amauri man handle Real's defense, and fight for every ball and ever tackle.

It was wondeful to see our club symbol, legend, and captain show the world his magic. What a goal! If he has a trend for scoring only beautiful goals, I won't be complaining. I think, along with Amauri, I was most impressed by him. The way the two helped out in defense and never stopped running was beautiful.

It was nice to see Ranieri getting it right for once. We had a more than decent defence that was able to put Real's attack at bay for most of the game. For once, the man showed some care and emotion. He looked like he was trying to his job.

I think we all deserve this win, and I think it means a lot to all of us Juve fans and players. We waited patiently in that dark serie B season, we waited again last season. Finally, we make it to the C.L and we beat our long time rivals to top the group. We have waited long enough for such encounters, finally they have come.

I hope this is a sign of our comeback. The players seem more compact and united and it couldn't have come at a better time. Hopefully, we carry on with this attitude.

Congrats everyone. Our embarrasing month is now behind us. We look forward to a new Ranieri, a new Juve.
I didn't know it was you until I finished reading your post. I completely agree with you, especially that last sentence. :scarf:

Watching Del Piero's goal for the hundredth time already, his first pass to Amauri was as beautiful as the shot.

That's excellent statistics, it means only one thing, with the small possession we had we are as efficient as Madrid by taking the ball forward and creating a chance. We foul less and we make less bad passes.
