Goal.com shit again?
I understand where this is coming from but how can a Juve fan in his right mind support Real? yes, we are in a slump, yes Ranieri is screwing up big time but still its a ridiculous idea... lets say we support Real and Juve loses and Ranieri gets fired... then what? we get a new coach or a caretaker one... will he be able to get us into the knockout stages easily? to adapt to the new coach will take time... so we losing to Real won't change anything... Ranieri won't get fired anyway...
none of the self respecting Juve fan will ever be able to support another club against Juve... your heart will never allow it... mine won't... no matter what slump we are in... now is the time we need to support the club even more, with the losses and the injuries... I'm not here to call anyone a false fan, but anyone thinking of supporting Real would be real stupid...
and yeah the Goal.com author can stick his head up his ass...
There is one thing you are missing there, this year is already wasted,
we only hope that we can improve our team next year,
if CR +our current board survives this crisis intact, then we will probably not fire them by the end of the season.
A caretaker like Conte cant dont any worse than CR right now.
We can keep him by the time someone like Prandelli or Spaletti becomes available and then release him without any explain/question, when we have the option to get a proper coach.
We cant do that with CR and CR doesnt force our hand to replace him, as someone like Conte would...

If you care for our future and you want us to have better chances to actually win smth, you must accept some sacrifices now,
i am generally against replacing coaches, mid-season, this is smth small clubs do.
But right now, things cant get any worse...
We are in a deep, deep crisis and there is only one way out...

But at the same time, their defense is shaky and quite easily stretched (although it will be hard with our current form since we struggle to create anything). Let's hope Casillas and co. have a really bad night and our attackers do everything on our own or at least get 2-3 decent balls. Giovinco must play. Amauri and Del Piero too. Hope that Legro will recover. Mellberg and Knezevic aren't good enough for this match. Molinaro better don't play. Sissoko will be important, here's to hoping he has a brilliant match.
agree

Also i think everyone knows that this is last CR match including mister, and i feel that he will take bigger gamble than usual and play Gio, as well as Amauri and DP

its make it or brake it for him

I've read some posts about the fitness of our players. Well, you should check out the so called 'fitness trainers' on the site. You can find the same kind of guys in the cafe around the block playing cards or snooker and complaining about their hamroids. Damn, I wish we had Chuck Norris in our team.

I hope Iaquinta plays. He's so onderrated.

I'm optimistic..i feel we'll win the match..regardless to Ranieri and the bad form we've been in...but it's all related to the players will..i think the players believe it could be a new start..defeating real madrid would be of course a great motivation for them..besides, they of course have been missing such great challenges for years..thats only what makes me believe they can do it..
but on the other hand..winning the match means ranieri won't be sacked..the situation is confusing :frown2:

I think Ranieri and some members of our board should resign by themselves, simply out of dignity. I am no fan either of changing a coach so soon but we can't continue like this. The new coach might at least bring a positive shock to the team and actually start playing football, bring some freshness to the side and develop the potential of the youngsters by playing them more...

:agree:
We will needmany factors to fall in place for us to get a positive result out of this but it is certainly achievable. Real are very tough but they are breakable. I just hope Ranieri showed them their first game of this season ( the one they lost, not sure against who).

If we are going to change coaches then it must be for someone who is going to be here for the long run. Why would anyone come in for half a year and try to get the best for the team. This caretaker shit is irresponsible imo because the coach will have low motivation and even some of the players too.

dignity is something that is a myth in italian football, especially after the showcase of the past 3 years

It's probably gonna be the same lineup as against Napoli, the only changes might be Legro instead of Knezevic if the former is fit and Sissoko instead of Poulsen. I hoping De Ceglie and Giovinco will start though.

Ranieri will probably stick to experience in this one, meaning Sali and Nedved on the wings again. I would like to see Marchionni and Giovinco taking their spots.

I know we have little chance of winning this, but I cant wait for this game. It's still Juve-Real, a champions league classic.

can't see us getting anything good out of this one. Ranieri will make the club look real stupid tomorrow. Real had better be kind to us and keep the score line low, 5-0 should do.
GOD HELP US!

This is my argument too and i would always embrace it, but...
These are extreme times and we need to make some sacrifices, our current board isnt as effective as it used to be, they always tend to accept compromises and half-measures. If their hand isnt forced, they are not bold enough to make a radical change, i would rather sacrifice this year, than this and the next one...

Old Juventini, without a proper name as coaches, would gladly accept this job,
for both the sake of Juve and for their very own future.
Conte for ex knows that we cant get any worse than we are now,
but having the chance to coach such a competitive and prestigious team,
even for half a year, is am opportunity he might never ever have the chance to get in his life.
At the worst case scenario, we will be as bad as we are now and his name will be head as a coach with some limited exp at the highest level.
An important trait he lacked by now...smaller team will take the bait.
But if things will improve, even just a bit,
he will indirectly proved to be a better coach than CR and a promising coach!
The interest for him will be raised a lt and he will be able to get more and much better offers, than he is now...:spliff:
