This match as the one against Inter, I have the feeling that our keeper just stands still in his goal. Not even attempts to make a save. Just stands still and looks at the ball going in.

His positioning also is terrible.

This is a liability that needs to be solved.

Man what i love about kelly here is that he was the only one who stopped giving too much fucks about defense and one of the first edge of the box ready to make run forward, and all the time at the right position. Whereas most of our players run to the flanks, he had the audacity and courage to continue, like nothing to lose here, so why not?.

We showed balls again to get what could be an important point. Need to win in the next game. Locatelli needs to play instead of Koop. Id love to see a back 4 with a midfield 3 at some point. We fall into the trap of falling too far back and giving too much space in the center of the park. Need to work on that.

Dusan and Yildiz were fantastic.

We fought hard, but we dropped points at home we shouldn’t have. This Dortmund team was there for the taking, shaky at the back, not even playing like they wanted it in the first half. We needed to rattle them early, and that clear penalty could’ve changed everything. At the end of the day, every home game counts, and we let this one slip.

No doubt that the midfield is an issue, and it has to be fixed this winter. Shame that our only choices are Koop and Locatelli. If Thuram’s off, we’re exposed and today proved it.

Credit to being combative. This team can score at will when they flip the switch. But Tudor can’t keep waiting until we concede. He needs to unleash havoc from the start, especially at home. To be real though, you don’t compete in the CL with a midfield this weak, no matter how much firepower we’ve got upfront.

On the bright side, Bremer survived without injury. And if I’m not wrong, that was the same ref from Leipzig last year, an absolute butcher.

This is a lesson for Tudor, u simply cant be that passive as we were in first half, when u play at home in CL. They have to do more, first half was pathetic.
The second thing is the midfield, most of goals we are loosing lately is because the midfielders fail to recover second balls as they are just too late all the time.

Locatelli needs to fuck off yesterday. He should never play for us, doubt he is even good enough for next gen. Koop as bad as he was, he did good in transition plus it was thuram playing locas spot, and he wasn't that good(maybe tired?)

My hunch is we want teams to commit numbers to fill that mid space to be able to counter effectively. But that also pre-supposed your team is really solid in the back, which we really are not obviously:

1- takes time for a defense to coalesce and react as a unit to situations
2- our personnel back there is not good to start with

Banger goals and crazy no quit result again

But, its rare a put a result on a single player.

But this was on Di Gregorio. He caught whatever Onana flu Sommer had in the weekend. Inexcusable goalkeeping in nearly all open play goals. He needs to do better.

Kobel in comparison was good for Dortmund. Despite conceded same amount.

He was at fault for the Couto's goal but what more he could've done with the rest? PK and two strong low driven shots in the corner just outside the area right in front of the goal.
