With a better goalkeeper and a normal ref, we’d have won that comfortably (as bad as we are)
Yildiz and Vlaho phenomenal. Zhegrova and Joao Mario made good little cameos. Koopmeiners is a massive liability and I am sure he’ll be on his way out at the end of the season…poor Thuram is looking gassed already after 4 games this season. We need urgent reinforcements there in winter.
Crazy game, good result in the end, because when you are losing 2:4 with 3 mins to go and bring it back to 4:4 you at least see a semblance of heart and fight from the team.
Need to fix these issues with our defending and goalkeeping asap to. We won’t get away with this long term.

The lack of quality in individuals costs us at this level.
Kelly (yes he scored a goal but arguably could've stopped 3), Koop (simply awful at both ends, should do better on their 2nd), McKennie (out his depth as the sole attacker on the right) and Di Gregorio (a sieve that's rooted to his line) all started and aren't CL level players.
As a first step if we can find a LCB that can defend and a CM that can pass and defend around the box, we'd improve hugely.
Tudor setting the team up to have more than than Yildiz as a creator would also help. Chico/Zhegrova/Joao Mario on the right would have made a huge difference.
