Jesus Christ going into a CL game with Locatelli & Mckennie as the 2 mids and one of the most unimpressive full back pairs you'll see in a top 8 league

How did we let ourselves go man for man worse in every single position over the last 10 years. You'd think we got force relegated again.
Locatelli has been our most consistent mid thus far this year and Mckennie was assist leader last season. It is a safe choice while Thuram is getting healthy and David Luiz is looking at beach houses.

I'm not disagreeing with tonights choice tbh, I'm just sad that's where we're at after 10 years of ruining our own midfield

OMG can't believe Wes is starting!!! Of course I like to see him succeed but makes absolutely no logical sense! Look at what we know. Motta for the longest time said he wanted no parts of Wes on the team. Was more less forced to keep him so tells us might barely see the pitch and probably as sub or couple starts against minnow league opponents. First big match in CL again and he starts. WOW!

Plus the Monkey not the most knowing soccer obseer, but Loca and Wes providing offensive passing flow into PSV's end? As bad as Wes can be at times passing, Loca is not much better if you're looking to assist the frontline players.

USA! USA! USA!

Hope my friends @Alen and @Boksic don't have strokes over this! :vidal:

And hope one of my BFF @DAiDEViL doesn't go MIA again for awhile! :vidal:

How the hell is McKennie starting. Fucking hell.
Lolwut. Best of luck to him I guess. He's probably looking at the lack of goals and thinking it's someone else to get into the box.

Motta gives me the impression that he likes to tinker and be a bit if a hipster in his selections, works both ways though.
