Giovinco has a great game.. but for the second goal we conceded, he partially at fault..
When Beletti pass to Ballack, he not follow Beletti to close down, and Moli must close down Ballack too that time so Beletti got the space and send a cross to Drogba..
That's why CR keep Nedved as first choice as Nedved has better sense in defence..
But i'm still proud for what our players show today although we play with 10 men...

The summer transfer window, who will hopefully add some quality players to our team and the increased quality percentage will help us to,
actually stand a chance to win a title and will not amputate our hopes,
even before the season starts, like it did this year...
I m also having the feeling that this season ended yesterday.
We lost the serie A title, we have ensured CL qualification, we probably even disqualified from the cup. That was our last wild card, although i ve always believed we cant make the back up (3-1). It is only yesterday that we were officially disqualified.
Somehow, i am pleased by our performance and proud for the spirit, my team has displayed yesterday, i hope that CR's loser mentality, hasnt been installed in my mind...

he is nothing like trez and i felt that Chiellini did a great job in handling him last night, i was watching him thinking" now here is a legend in the making" and then he dived into a stupid and needless challenge and earns a second yellow. he still has a lot to learn that boy but hopefully he learns from it
if i was forced to pick 2 finalists it would be Bayern and Atletico simply because it would be one hell of a final

and here comes our resident harbinger of doom! i seriously doubt anybody with even the slightest knowledge of football could argue that when forced to make a tough decision after nedved came off that Ranieri called it right. he pushed Iaquinta up front, dropped delpie back a little and stiffened up the right side. now i am not the biggest fan of Brasso or Grygera but they ensured that very little came from chelsea down that side of the pitch.
giovinco caused mayhem but chelsea simply tried to bully the boy everytime he ran at them, bringing him on earlier may have seen him kicked out of the game.
i do however agree that amauri should have come on for barsso and we should have thrown the kitchen sink at chelsea, but what then?what if we had scored and had been severely unbalanced and then chelsea scored anyway? of course then that would have just given you more fire to criticize him with! you were the exact same with deschamps vinni, when will you ever be happy?
nobody expected us to WIN the CL, hell you happily told us all that we would FAIL to even qualify from the group. with a limited squad, with injuries,with aging players,with the inexperience of some of our youngsters and with a coach that most deem incompetent we have shown that we are progressing well, that we are a match for most teams on our day and that the name Juventus is going to be synonymous with success once again.

I was unable to watch the game last night, but from all the stories I've heard, the multi billion club got a hand full of the old lady. Chelsea should be ashamed as they were at their top when we were in Serie B, yet some English morons are so happy that they won.
Doesn't matter though, we will be back next year with some better players and ofcourse a great experience. Buffon was right, injuries fcked up our CL campaign.

I believe we need another coach to make another step forward
Ranieri is a decent guy and a good coach at best but in order for us to truly compete for glory again we need a worldclass coach and players

The only thing Ranieri did wrong, was his lame goodie two shoe comments about the ref =p
The ref was a sissy! I don't think Chiellini should have gotten sent off.
But overall, I'm proud. We lost in the best possible spirit (if that's possible).
Remember under Capello and our losses to Liverpool and Arsenal. Totally heartless! Like we just accepted it. Last night, even down 2 10 men, we kept trying.
Lets face it, our team does lack quality to win CL, shown by Sali's introduction, but we fought valiantly!

Chiellini : 7 - it looked like a clean, tackle. But nevertheless, Chiellini should've understood that the ref was a sissy and would gladly hand out yellow cards for the slightest of challenges. He should glimpses of emotional stupidity, needs to mature.
Mellberg : 7
Gygera : 7
Tiago : 8 - This guy looks more like the price we paid for him, helped the midfield well against ballack and lampard, looked very good on the ball and protecting it. Hope there's more.
Marchision : 8 - Again, another good performance, his passes were good enough and he was mobile and tireless. Encouraging.
Sali : 6.5 - in all fairness, his heart was black and white, tried to provoke chelsea players, but footballing wise was the least contributing.
Del Pie: 8 - How do I rate this man, if only he was younger. He did everything he could, took a very good PK under pressure. Talk about captains.
Trez : 7.5 - Great assist, a typical box performance from Trez, was invisible sometimes, but thats how he plays.
Iaquinta : 8 - A great finish. Very cool. Both him and Trez didn't get enough service.
Giovinco : 8 - Whatta display, made plenty of dummies past chelsea players, and caused the chelsea defenders all kinds of problems with his dribble and pace. Should have had more confidence to shoot when he had the chance.
Amauri : -- - too little too late, nothing he could do.
Ranieri : 8 - I don't think you can blame him on this one, he did the best with the players available.
Although I would've put in Poulsen instead of Sali and let Tiago expose some space on the right. We hardly ever pressured A. Cole and the left side of Chelsea.

It's almost never about luck. Had we been lucky, we might have gone through, but we weren't unlucky. We didn't manage to score at Stamford Bridge and we took two avoidable goals at home. I say we were the better side during the two games, but when it really mattered we either missed good chances (Amauri's weak header in London comes to mind) or were weak defensively.
