Yeah, ESPNFC are the same. It's amazing how clueless some people are about non-EPL football.
They have no clue how to analyse a game. It's all just fucking vibes.
As for Manchester City, have we ever seen a team drop off this fast? On 11 June 2023 they won a treble in Istanbul... missing Rodri cannot be the reason why they looked so toothless in attack. Have they already been notified about the 115 charges? You'd think in this day and age something would be leaked by now.

If Rodri is the best player in the world is a topic for everyone else, but missing the core player along with KDB for large spells would hurt any team.
Finally, I wonder if the lack of vacation may create some psychological problems. You need the break to recover both mentally and physically. Maybe the short vacation wasn't enough to rekindle that hunger and fire. Yesterday it was quite evident that they are just passing through games. They press high but they don't fight for the ball. Similar to what has annoyed me about us for several years is that when we press we run towards the one in possession and then we have stand off and wait for them to do something. We don't really try to recover the ball. Koop's energy is vital here, he is the one really digging in. Yesterday there were several times where one of our defenders were isolated against 3-4 or even five opponents but they didn't do anything. Ran up close to him and just looked and cut off angles, no one went after him. Thuram even squeezed through a few times because no one really battled for it. So they are just passing through, they are not fully engaged.
