The level of some of the players starting and subbed in for us in a CL game was ridiculous.
What annoys me the most is that over the past 5 seasons or so, we rarely have our strongest line ups playing. This season already seems to be having this same tendency. Always have to rely on 2nd or even 3rd options because the core is riddled with injuries.

Sharing this again for the 10th time. Until JJ changes its ways we will continue to see players falling to adapt and falling apart. For some players it brings out the best of them but for most it breaks them.

Incredible game from Perin. He was massive today!

How many times does Yildiz have to do fuck all on the left wing for Motta to realise that it's not working?

1 shot on target in 97 minutes at home. This is unacceptable. I said this during the Lazio game - modern football is all about chance creation. We don't create anywhere near enough chances to score. Vlahovic isn't a clinical striker, so you can't only create 2-3 real chances and expect him to bury it.

It's concerning that Motta seems to be relying on moments of individual brilliance from Conceicao to resolve matches. Where is the consistent patterns of play in the attacking phase? Yes we have lots of possession but we're doing fuck all with it.

Danilo was a disaster today. But with the busy fixture list, Gatti can't play every game. Our squad is too thin to be playing every 3-4 days.

This team desperately needs a fit and fully functional Koopmeiners.

Our team when we conceded the goal looked like this:

Perin
Cambiaso-Kalulu-Cabral-Rouhi
Weah-Locatelli-Fagioli-Adzic
Yildiz

The fuck? :lol2:
That's not important.

What is important is that coach needs to implement his genious thesis.

If the coach implements his genious thesis perfectly then it doesn't matter who plays.

I mean it matters who plays, but it also doesn't, if you know what I mean.

Seriously our attacking department does lack technical capabilities. Having vlahovic is like negative one player.

Amauri and llorente would have fared better than him.

Great match. Undeserved result for Jj
Sometimes when you have a matchday like yesterday, it pays to read quotes from the Mr. Beast lawsuit against the ghost kitchens making his inedible Beast Burgers.

Talk about an investment worse than Paul Pogba... that deal has turned Mr. Donaldson into Allegri at the Coppa Final

Donaldson: I'm just never going to promote it again and let it slowly die, f*ck those pieces of sh*t. If theyd give me control I'd make them rich. But instead they hold me hostage and try to make me their b*tch.

Defence is decent but gets exposed because the lack of cover from the midfield that we supposedly improved so much on. Thuram and Luiz are way below expectations, even Koopmeiners not being able to score is below his normal standards. Yes we have injuries, but getting bullied like that was terrible and the subs should be prepared to step up.

Yildiz disappeared, Vlahovic was a ghost but got nothing to feed off yesterday. Why didn't we get a different type of striker? Why not get some explosive off the bench players? We needed a runner for the counter last night and Mbangula is just that.

I expect us to play games like that against Man City for example, maybe against Inter this weekend, but we need some sort of counter plan and that has to be attack based because we can't go toe to toe with such teams.

After getting bummed in the first half, there should've been a tactical change, not just telling the players to do better because it didn't work.

Motta needs to do better and the players need to improve a lot and fast. If Vlahovic is getting one or two clear chances per game, it doesn't surprise me that he'll miss that one great chance in a tight game. He should be getting multiple chances especially against weaker teams. Motta's job is to find that solution for him.
