I am a Gala fan and yesterday I saw a nightmare, in which I watched this game. The result was as follows.

Galatasaray 1 - Juventus 4
Drogba (56) Tevez (23)(37) Vidal (77) Llorente (86)

We started well for the first few minutes. But then Juventus slowly got the control and were the better side for the remainder of the first half. Tevez found the opener in the 23rd min, silencing the crowd. We tried to get back in the game but could not. Juve were very solid as a team and did not leave us any space to exploit at the back. Tevez scored again and Juve was leaving 2-0 at half time. Mancini made a few adjustments and we started the second half well. We increased the pressure and finally Drogba found the net bringing us some hope. For the next 20 minutes with the support of our fans we dominated the game and made Juve suffer. Buffon made a few critical saves and kept Juve in the game. We worked hard to find the equaliser but couldn't. As we were desperately seeking for a goal we left huge spaces behind and Vidal scored on the counter on the 77th min. After that Juve was back at the drivers seat against a demoralised and tired Gala. Finally Llorente found the net 4 minutes from time and sealed the victory for Juve. Interesting...

Well remembered. I will watch it on Wednesday, that is the 18th.

Don't worry, this really was a dream.

Not sure if suicide bombing will be acceptable according to the UEFA rules.

But nah, I think he'll do a good enough job tomorrow. It's Tevez who worries me, i'd love to see him bag 2 or more goals to shake off his CL demons. Also I hope our amazing defensive work lately in the league carries over to the CL now, there's no excuse for some of the goals we've been gifting.

Damn, I almost had that Drogba goal memory supressed :disagree:

I just hope we can put in a convincing defensive performance. I don't want our entire back line to start questioning themselves whenever they play in the CL, some of those goals.....

Smh.

Here's hoping.

I'm pretty confident, and if we do qualify I'd love to get drawn against United atm.

The thought of MVP against Fellaini and Cleverly :tuttosport:

But first thing's first, getting a result in Istanbul

I honestly think we can pull out a top draw game tomorrow. We've been building towards it. Looking forward to it.
Agreed.
I can't see us failing to get the result tomorrow. We've raised the quality of our performances since the last encounter. Our midfield looks incredible strong, defense seems composed, Buffon is back to his best, only Tevez to start banging goals and I have some feeling that tomorrow's game might be the one for him. We got this.

I would avoid English teams. They seem to be rather awkward opponent for us.

Del Piero - Trezeguet > Tevez - Llorente
Del Piero wasn't playing that day.

Wait, I'm only thinking of the away leg. I've blanked the details of the home leg from my memory.

Anyway the current team is on a different planet to that mess.
