I thought we may as well start a thread about this, seeing as its the biggest match in club football at the moment. I personally will be avidly supporting milan for the follwoing reasons:

1. A win would be good for Italian football, and whats good for Italian football, is good for Juve.

2. Milan prevented an all-english final.....GREAT

3. I feel Milan are on Juve's side in the Calciopoli scandal, as we were both implicated by inter. Even though we went down, they are the 'cheats' who are still out there, proving that Calciopoli was a farce. So i hope they win, proving further that calciopoli is a lie,, and shove it right in inter's face.

4. Juve and Milan have a solid relationship with no real bitterness. We play the belusconi trophy every year, and there seems to be a mutual respect that we are the top 2 Italian teams. A particular example would be them sending us Abbiati free after injuring Buffon pre-season, you don't see something like that often. Unlike Inter, this club has honour and respect.

5. Juve and Liverpool have a lot of bad blood. The Heysel disaster for one thing, which leaves a bad taste. And also when we played them recently in the Champs League, and Del Piero got a fair goal ruled offside at Anfield. I respect them as a club with a rich history, but they have done many things at Juve's expense.

I'm interested to see what the opinion of most juve fans are, but these are my reasons why I'll be supporting Milan on May 23rd.

:disagree: It will be more like this:

1) A win for Milan will be good for Milan, not Italian football. And what is good for Milan is not good for Juventus. Milan will get shit loads of money and strengthen their squad and beat the shit out of Juventus next season.

2) I agree. I didn´t want to see all English final also.

3) Milan is not on Juventus side and Milan are not innocent victims. Milan is corrupted as much as Inter.

4) I don´t care about Berlusconi´s trophy. Milan are discusting cunts and I have no respect for them. Only thing I have with Milan is hate and envy because of their European success.

5) Juventus and Liverpool don´t have any bad blood. That is only imagination of a few idiots that think Liverpool as a club is responsible for death of Juventus fans.

Del Piero´s goal ruled out? How about Juventus-Milan final in 2003 when Dida saved 3 penalties and standing out of his line. How many times Juventus was burned by Milan because of bad referee decisions?? Billion of times.

Final conclusion is: FORZA LIVERPOOL and FUCK YOU MILAN FOREVER!!

1.How can you claim a win for Milan is not good for Juve?? In a year of total disrepute for Italian football, and international players being frozen by the idea of playing in Italy, having the Champs League trophy there maintains the worth of Serie A and its importance to world football. If serie A is in high regard, so is Juve. Im sorry, but thts an obvious one to me. Im no milan fan im juve 100%, but a win for milan, is good for serie A, and good for juve. Why do you think english people want an english winner, becuase its good for the league. You have to be objective in a situation where juve is not involved.

    2. Yep

3.Milan is not as corrupted as Inter. Its not Milan's fault we were relegated. It was Inter!! Inter are to blame for instigating us and they tried and failed to include Milan. Milan and Inter are in this day no longer comparable, I hate and will always hate inter for what they've done to this club forever. The team who rivals that club be it milan juve barca or roma or any club, is the side that im on.

    4. No respect for milan? its fair enough. they did give us abbiati free and we have at least professionally maintained a positive relationship with them. I don't envy their european success, we have won more trophies than them and thats that. Particularly our dominance in Serie A. Other than this past year, we have no need to envy them. We are Juve.

    5. Its disrespectful to be angrier at Nelson Dida saving penalties from Paolo Montero and famed penalty taker David Trezeguet than what happened at Heysel. It is not stupid, it is a stain on their history and a horrible memory on ours. They crushed nearly a hundered juve fans to death man. And our record against milan one on one aint bad, particuarly not to 'refereeing decisions' that you say. The last times we played I cannot think off any particular bad decisions. Certainly not the ones we had in favour of us in the past few years.

Final Conclusion is: Forza Milan and fuck liverpool.

The Real Final Conclusion: Forza Juve! I hope we fuck them both in the near future.

    2003 was undeserved victory

berlusconi bought the ref of Juventus-real madrid match

he shows cheap yellow card to Nedved(Player of the Year)

if this isnt cheat, what is cheat
The referee wasn't bought-out, your conspiracy theories are off the wall. For gosh sakes, Michel Salgado exaggerated the tackle and Nedved was punished. How many times has Nedved dove and been awarded a free kick or had an opponent carded? Numerous occasions, trust me.

I'm not saying Nedved didn't deserve or shouldn't have been able to play in that final...he was the reason they got there in the first place. I'm just saying "you live by the sword, you die by the sword", and Nedved over-embelished tackles for most of his career, and sure enough someone else's dive cost him a Champions' League Final. He was just unlucky.

I pick the lesser of two evils, Liverpool. I am not going to pretend that i care about the dead ones from 1985 only because they were Juventus fans. They were people, they were innocent and i dont care if they were Juventus, Rosenborg or Sparta Prague fans. They died and its a tragedy. I dont care if the people who killed them were Liverpool or Milan fans. They are criminals and killers.
Steven Gerrard and Rafael Benitez didnt kill those people 22 years ago and they don't support what those murderers did back then.

Milan is stronger than my team now. Milan is much stronger than Juventus. If they win this league they will be even more stronger. They will be champions and the most wanted team in mercato. I prefer our POSSIBILE rivals in champions league 2008-09 to become champions and become stronger then our TRADITIONAL and EVERYDAY rivals to be the best in Europa and be atractive to Buffon, Trezeguet, Camoranesi and our transfer targets.

We don't get anything from Liverpool win and we lose almost nothing. Italia may get something from Milan win but Juve will lose more than what Juve will get.
I am so sorry but i will never be on the side of the team that wanted our deserved trophyies. I will never be on the side of Milan fans who claim we stole THEIR <yeah right, that is what they say> scudettos in 2005 and 2006. I will never be on the side of the people who call us cheaters, mafia, criminals.

We all make our choices. Some of you want Milan to win it and you have reasons for that. Fair enough but i don't want them to win. I want them to choke and be humiliated in front of the world like they were 2 years ago. There is no need for us to argue over Milan.

    FUCK you Milan

    Sorry. It's the Douchebag Bowl, between 2006's Team-That-Should-Have-Never-Been-Allowed-in-the-Champions-League versus the 2005 Team-That-Should-Have-Never-Been-Allowed-in-the-Champions-League.

Is it any wonder why I don't really give a rat's ass about the outcome?
