Scrappy win against Leverkusen yesterday. Truth be told, our form has been rather awful the last 4 or 5 games. I don't see us remotely close of beating Juve if we maintain our horrible form. There have been some injuries and suspensions but that shouldn't be an excuse, as everyone was regularly praising the deep squad we have this year.
I'm very excited and curious of how our midfields will fare against one another, as I genuinely believe that both Juve's and Bayern's midfield is only topped by Barca's. I'm also wondering how we will break through your defensive barrier. I don't see us getting through in the middle. Long distance shots will probably be just as ineffective as shots will either be blocked or saved by Buffon. I guess our only chance is to create something from the wings through Ribery/Alaba on the left and Lahm/Müller on the right. What would you say is your defensive "weakness", if you could call it that way? What about standards?

There is just something very unlikeable about Spanish football. It's not about the recent success. It's the behavior on the pitch and their arrogance about their style of playing. So many things I don't like about them. I don't see any class at all although that's what the pundit propaganda tries to make us belief.

Spanish football is too "clean" for me. Too neat and orderly. I need the ruggedness of the italian league! PL and Bundesliga have that too.

Jupp's decisions have been rather strange to say the least. Especially starting two DMs against Arsenal and Leverkusen. You ALWAYS need either Schwein or Kroos at the 6. We've seen that last season. As soon as Schweinsteiger broke his collar bone against Napoli, Bayern started to struggle with Gustavo and Tymoschuck both starting. Bayern only started to recover when Jupp moved Kroos into the deeper midfield next to Gustavo and moved Thomas Muller from the wing into the middle. Almost every single game I've seen where Jupp starts two DMs is subpar. There is just something missing there.

I think Barca and the Spanish national team are everything but arrogant. They are really humble to be honest, always showing respect for their opponent before and after a match. Yes, there are some antics every now and then but the general dislike for Barca is mainly due to their overwhelming dominance in Europe these past years. The common perception of Barca being Uefalona is also distorted due to their success. I am by no means a Barca fan, as I find their playing style rather tedious at times. But I respect them as a club.

We don't have many of those

Our defence is our biggest strength, to be honest. However, sometimes there is some sloppy marking when defending against cornerkicks and freekicks. Remember a couple of times this season when opposition players were allowed to head straight at goal, more or less unmarked.

Also, Bonucci isn't the best tackler in the game, despite having improved massively over the course of the last two seasons. He reads the game well, though, and is becoming increasingly good with clearances, headers and passing. But his tackle success ratio could be higher.

Barzagli and Chiellini are just beasts. I think that's well documented. Also, Lichtsteiner and Asamoah are very good defensively.

I agree. We definitely lacked creativity in the midfield. Even though Jupp likes to rotate, he rarely does so when it means that someone has to play "out of position". Of course he does from time to time like putting Robben on the left or Schweini as a 10, but he prefers to keep players at one position. I guess he wanted to see if and how Martinez would handle the midfield being the more creative part.

I guess we need to play Van Buyten then :hellyes:. Guy's a beast in set pieces and has been suprisingly defensively solid this season. His defending one-on-one against players with decent pace though is

Yes thats true, spanish league is not ruggedness, when you look at the players, many small and thin playes, compare this with Bundesliga, Epl or seria a, there u have many tall and strong players, its more a physical game.

I find them arrogant, plenty of incidences where they displayed entitlement and where they played down the other team. It's common to see Xavi showcasing that for example.

We may see more Bayern - Juventus games in the next few years. The two teams have never really had strong teams coinciding with each other. Now they're both going to be up there for a while. Down with the Spanish teams.

He never rotates little by little. When he rotates he usually rotates half the team. Maybe he should move Muller into the middle and start Robben on the right one game with Schweini and Martinez in deep midfield.Then maybe move Kroos back into the 10 and have Muller on the right wing. Then another game have Gustavo and Schweini. Do it little by little but more often. That way there'd also be less chemistry problems. I hate it when he plays the same team over and over again and then all of a sudden puts 5 new players on the pitch who've never played together like this before. If you know what I mean. And they all need experience in the best possible set up.

i have no problems with bayern as a club but i do dislike some of the attitude of their management

If you knew Rummenigge and Hoeneß, you would know that they are tough-talking, doing everything they can to protect the club even it sometimes involves aiming below the belt. Also taken into account that Rummenigge used to play for Inter, he's not an avid fan of Juve, I guess
