Another superstitious fact is that the last time Juventus won the Champions League was the last time there were no English teams in the quarter-finals.
Onto the game tonight I just hope we get a good result for the 2nd leg so I would be happy with 1-1, would not take a 2-1 defeat if offered now as a) I think the team is good enough to even win there b) that's kind of what you would expect at the least anyway c) I would like to be able to say that we won the Champions League without losing a single game
Don't like the idea of playing 3-5-1-1 as I think we need to attack them there, we haven't changed formation really at any point this season so would be strange for one game.
Do not want to see Giovinco anywhere near the pitch as you know it's the kind of game where he will get bullied off the ball. Think Asamoah should start on the left as Peluso hasn't shown that he can be as solid defensively as him. Strikers I think Vucinic has to start if fit and then it's difficult to say between Matri and Quagliarella although Quags has been our Champions League specialist this year.
Good observation, you might have also noticed that every year ending in 3 an Italian side always gets to the final.
