Another goalless draw, this time a rather predictable one, all in all probably a good result for us under the current circumstances, but once again little to be excited about or look forward to… hopefully things will gradually improve once we have more players available and maybe decide to try something else for a change too.

I think it's time to be worried about getting out of the group stage.

We should win with Brugge. City will destroy us. Benfica is Portuguese so I'm not confident.
We should be ok

We are 2 points off 6th

It's all still very much to play for

In isolation this result isn't that bad given our injury situation, the Stuttgart loss has hurt us the most.

Would take a cagey 0-0, with no injuries and the game not getting stretched.
We take it. Thank fuck the goal was ruled out, was a foul but our luck is normally shit.

Didn’t look like scoring without a striker ever appearing the box. All players in the team did bust a gut to sprint back every time they broke, much like the Milan game so that is a positive.

Swedish commentators really think that should have been a goal. :sergio:
That's because they are all brought up on English football and remember the days when you could charge into a keeper like that and then laugh at him.

It's a foul in modern football, but I don't like what I've seen so far in terms of commanding the area. When you're unconvincing that can panic defenders.

General performance was meh, it was ok at times, lots of individual mistakes. I think Motta's being a bit let down by the quality and the condition of some players, ignoring the injuries, but it's not like there has been a revolution in our playing style. We're reverting to type a lot, Motta is clearly deploying the team to not lose right now, probably in response to what he has work with (insert Junktoli emoji, etc).

Something I constantly remind myself of is how young this team is. We seriously lack experience and leadership. I don't recall ever watching a Juve team over the past 30+ years where we lacked this to such an extent. We had a few mediocre teams but there were always champions to turn to. That's partly down to squad assembly but also a reality to the situation Serie A finds itself in.
