Madrid are pulling this off again today aren’t they

I wont even mind it tbh. They are so far ahead of everyone in terms of trophies, it doesn’t even make a difference. Id rather it be them than other clubs since then it makes JJ’s paltry one CL look even worse.

Imagine having the same number of CLs as City of PSG.

Inter are better than Bayern, that's just how it is now. Inter can defend and are clinical when going forward. They'll just counter Barcelona, it remains to be seen if Barcelona waste their chances because Inter will let them have possession.

As for Arsenal, they're decent attacking but they can't defend. PSG are better all round, but they really need to do better than what they did against Villa. A solid PSG performance and they win 9/10 times.

Inda will beat Barca. They have Szczesny in goal and he's due for a massive error in a game like this.

Marotta winning CL with Inda with like 60-70% of his JJ team budget is going to be the ultimate humiliation for us.

they won't beat barca. not with the form lewa and raphina are in. darmian and acerbi will struggle against pace of raphina and yamal

Meh. Full squad Bayern still wipes the floor with them.
maybe. thankfully we won't have to worry. with the form lewandowski is, inter is in trouble.

Based on this season, definitely not. Bayern were crap in the group stages like Madrid and both got caught out. Barcelona and Inter have been great, while PSG have been inconsistent, but they have put in some top level performances like against Liverpool. Arsenal have also been great in the CL. The destruction of PSV that Mottaventus bent over for shows the real gap in quality. The four best teams are there on merit.

Does home advantage even count anymore? PSG remember beat Liverpool in Anfield and won the penalty shootout there. Inter beat Bayern in Munich. Real just lost at home to Arsenal.

That’s an interesting observation. Looking st this year’s results, home teams did pretty well in the league phase- 77 wins compared to 49 wins for away teams.

In the knockout round, it’s been much more close. 17 home wins vs 16 away wins.

I wonder if the away goals rules being scrapped has been a factor in this.

imo less to do with home advantage not counting and more to do with the losing teams being weak defensively

Bayern was always Inter's bitch.
Not always

With a better coach, this would've been a 5th win at the Meazza. But looks like Bayern want to emulate JJ by making crap signings and hiring fraud coaches.

Inda's recent record against them is pretty good tho. They won the key clashes in knockout rounds.

Watched Real`s game yesterday - Arsenal played brilliant tactically and defended very well. I had no idea Arsenal are that good.

About Inter - Its not really a surprise as I would have been really surprised to see the go out. This is Bayern and they are a good team but its not the fearsome Bayern.

Anyway in this SF one of Barcelona and Inter will go home (My bet is on Barcelona crashing out)

Scrapping away goals has been a rare UEFA W imo. Games are much more open and less speculative and cagey now.
