It was a very random choice indeed.

If we can win the title this season I'd say he has done a decent job in his first season. Many players are beyond washed or just not having the quality needed. Kim Min-Jae seems like a one season wonder now. Napoli scammed us there.

I think he's actually done a pretty good job. They're at least back to being fun to watch.

Especially compared to how Tuchel had them playing for the previous 2 seasons.

Inter have a better team than the Bayern they faced, and they eventually qualified and eliminated the Bavarians, but they didn't show on the pitch that they are the better team. They went with a classical Italian approach. Shame that they weren't punished for this.

Against Barca tho, this approach would be logical and it might work.
