We’d have a chance to salvage something maybe if we sacked Motta ASAP, but that is a pipe dream.
I can't remember the last time we sacked a coach before the end of the season, but if we do, Motta will be throwing mud at the board for not having enough time to settling his tactics.

Milan just won a trophy bro.

It's only us who have fallen.
Winning that tinpot trophy will be their only crowning glory this season.

We just spanked them recently. They managed to make us look good as well. Lot of chaos at boardroom level at Milan currently. Some players are not happy with their new coach etc.

We have good players, infact better players than them but we are badly coached.

Both clubs have realized how important it is to make top 4 hence scrambling for new players in the last days of the window.

We can’t even beat the likes of Venezia or Cagliari in the league these days. Couldn’t score a goal against Brugge or Villa. Couldn’t beat Nice. Got ass raped by Benfica.

Wouldn’t shock me if we go out in humiliating fashion again. Wouldn’t be new to this team in this competition.

At least it won’t be Milan who knock us out. But might be Inter if we somehow get through. Just our luck :touched:
we're in terrible form, no poibt denying it

just one remark: we're better against openly attacking teams, and psv looked like one when we played them earlier. let's hope they don't learn and will try to attack. a better game from mbamgula, yildiz or chico might be enough for us

then again, some additional injuries and/or no change in the group mentality and we're probably out against any decent and compact team. just banter era stuff lol

Its not optimism or confidence in the team. We can lose and get kicked out, litterally against anyone of the weakest teams left.

But I was just addressing the auto despair like we already out cuz we got PSV? Like s4tch says, they play open offensive game, and even with Bremer and better form, we seen that style of theirs suited us and we could beat them. So we have a chance to do that again. That's all.

Save the automatic loss despair for Inter or Arsenal. If we get that far, one of those two will embarrass us worse then Benfica fashion.

Who will we get next? Inda? I do not understand

Inter or Arsenal.

Im also curious Is it gonna be draw again?

Like one of Feye/Milan and one of PSV and Juve, will be drawn with either one of Inter or Arsenal? Like 2 matches? Inter vs feye/Milan and PSV/Juve vs Arsenal?

Or is it that PSV/Juve will face Milan/Feyenoord.

And the ultimate winners of those 4 will face the winners of Inter-Arsenal match?

Odd if it's the latter, because whats the reward for Inter and Arsenal if they face high up team, meaning eachother first?

Yes there will be another draw but the path to the final has been decided as illustrated in the blue and silver brackets

Just to be clear, Inter and Arsenal don't play eachother? They each play one of the winners of the 4 teams?
That's correct.

Inda/Arsenal to face winner of Juve/PSV or Feyenoord/Milan

If Inda get drawn on the blue side of the bracket for example, they play winner of Feyenoord/Milan.

Then it'll be Arsenal vs winner of Psv/Juve

- - - Updated - - -

The next draw is to determine whether the top 8 teams will end up in the blue or silver side of the bracket.

That makes more sense. It been confusing to grasp at first.

Because since Wednesday games, the top seeded 8 teams being sidelined next to eachother in pairs in bracket confused ppl. Gooners I know (like my brother), thought they will face Inter first, then the winners of lower seed teams.

Told them that don't make sense, it doesn't reward you for finishing at the top.

It kinda does this season tho.

One of Pool/Barca have a good chance of making the semis. If either one of them land in the blue bracket, toughest opponent they could face is probably Dortmund.

Look at the top side of the blue bracket. You have Monaco, Benfica, Villa, Lille, Sporting and Dortmund. All very beatable teams.

Losing to Arsenal.

The stuff of nightmares.
Over the past two years they are quite scary. Had it not been for over the top City and Liverpool they would have won the title surely. Plenty of great players and what I find great is how they are fielding some kids that are actually good and not overhyped like ours. I think Lewis and Nwaneri are really talented.
